My music file was deleted by my computer tech friend, I lost all music from bands H to Q.

What timing.

"That joke isn't funny any more" -- Morrissey line, proof that all posts lead to Morrissey.

mine are all done, in fact i burned a few in deifferent track orders so i'm just going to list the songs alphabetically. you should be able to figure all of them out by the lyrics and process of elimination, or just stick it in your computer and let the interweb do the work. the final mix i like the most is the one i burned the songs in order of shortest to longest....go figure. i'll be ready to mail my first 5 or so tomorrow if you want. just let me know who to semd to first, i.e., who is going to be sending to me first, after all fair is fair.

Mine is done - it's just a case of burning and then what will probably be the long process of dithering over artwork and sending, so don't send to me first Shine (though yours are always a treat & I still owe you big time for Les Savy Fav)

When are we sending them out?

I think mine is satisfyable. I was able to salvage a lot of music from my back discs, but I can only find 25 of the 50. They're either destroyed or vanished. I've had them since the days of Napster and Auiogalaxy (best program ever).

I had 20 some gigs of mp3s. I never thought I would need them so I didn't take care of them. that's a common theme in my life.

Anyway, I'm pretty happy, to share bands with you that you've probalby never heard, and to check my mailbox daily for yours.

And it's really fucking hard to choose songs, takes forever and always cutting out shit you want to include. I guess I'll enough for another one for next time.

alphabetical, release date, compilations(by title) come before soundtracks(by title) at the very end, if a band begins with a number(54-40, fifty foot wave, 80's matchbox) i spell out the first word. it was a bitch deciding where to put my jello biafra with D.O.A. cd. i ended up putting it at the end of the dead kennedy's only a couple "d" bands in between anyways. when i get my new place i am seriously considering re-arranging them in order by release date chronologically, with the internet it is so easy to find out exact release dates and info about recordings i think i could be pretty exact. once again i digress.....i'll stop again.
