let's shoot for the end of july for delivery...that gives you a little over a month to choose, burn, discard, re-choose, re-burn and do artwork and ship...

how's that sound?

[edit]: spelling.

End of July? That's how much leeway we have ? Wow! I was gonna be done by week's end.
Maybe I should be putting more care and thought into this. This thing's gotta ship with artwork? Wow...

doesn't HAVE to have artwork kiki - i usually just do a plain white sleeve with the tracks and i include a piece of paper explaining the choice of songs/where they come from (album, artist, etc)

Omigod! I have to explain shit now?

No, seriously, that's cool. Actually, I was just thinking of you Brian because I am going
to describe one of my featured artists as "the best music to come out of New Jersey,
period." Can you guess who that might be?

you don't have to explain anything K...just fill that disc up with BonJovi and be proud.

you don't have to do artwork either...track listings are optional but I like having a list right next to me so's I knows what's what...y'know. don't go crazy with photoshop or some big d-sign program...jus' do whatever.

(do whatever, like i said, just don't put any bon jovi on your mix cd or we'll have to have words).

I can't believe that the screaming genius of Dillenger Escape Plan is being so carelessly ignored here if we're going to start on the whole New Jersey thing.

First draft done - now I'll just agonise over it for days. So far it's errr heavy and noisy with much shouting (possibly a mistake for me to put this together after seeing Fantomas on the weekend!)

my first draft is done, but unlike nicole, i feel mine needs a bit more 'punch' to it - so i'm searching out one or two heavier songs to mingle in there

i'm thinkin' my mix might be split into two again...

for some reason, the first half is tending to be another cocktail hour mix...

I couldn't believe it myself Mikey - I fully expected a poignant selection of acoustic tracks written by tormented singer songwriters like Damien Rice and the like and other resturant friendly musicians.

I'm having a very hard time limiting HardCore bands from my list, all because of Surfa Rosa. I've got about a dozen hardcore bands I want her to hear, yet no one else will like them. Maybe I'll have to make Surfa's a double disc =)
