You DO realize that by making such a stink, you're just increasing the likeliness of guys posting here to just to piss you off, right?

VoVat, have you had a sex change operation? If not, skedadle over to the locker room. It's not that scary, trust me. It's FUN in there. I think they're talking about farts right about now.

Why are you so intent on promoting Floop's thread? Did he pay you off in bath products?

Dayanara....I noticed you mentioned Benefit on your earlier post of products. I recently discovered Benefit, and I love it! Their blush is the best. It comes in a bottle like nail polish and it smells like roses. It totally gives you that sexy naturally blushing look. I also love their product called "Brow Zings. I am blond, and never darkened by brows before. I can't believe what a difference it makes.
For eye shadows...I am strictly a MAC gal. Lashes...I stick to the old standby waterproof Maybelline.
As for lotions and potions....I love trying about anything. There is this soap (damn...can't remember the brand) that's scent is called "Lettuce" sounds weird but is incredible. It smells so fresh and clean. I also love all sorts of lavendar scents. Kiss My Face has a very nice lavendar lotion and it is so good for moisturizing.
We also have alot of Burt's Bees products at home. I love the bathsalts, chap stick, and the lemon cuticle butter is wonderful for my gardening hands. As is the almond butter hand cream. Yummy! |

ohh this is a cool thread!
as far as dry skin goes, the best thing for it is to drink more h2o.
if anyone wants, I can send you a free sample of some hand stuff I make. It's all organic and you can even eat it if you want... but I don't reccomend it. just email me your address and I i can send you some next weekend. It smells like tangerine cocoa. Limit to the first 5 responses.
I also really like The Aveda Hand lotion... it's so good.
I would spend more time with this thread but my best buddy is in town this weekend! :)

Daisy, you never cease to amaze me. You make your own? Awesome! Have fun with your friend and when you have time thrill us with tales of life behind the scenes at the Bobbi Brown counter.
mosleyk: I put some Kiss My Face lavender lotion about an hour ago. It is so very great, isn't it? I like that product line a lot.

aaah, benetint. i always tried to use it as lip gloss but it just bled all over my face. i think i'm too pale to wear it on my cheeks. i got some wacky eyebrow stencils at sephora the other day. my brows are out of control, i need professional help.

I like to use lots of cream, must be that getting slightly older dealie. I've found for feet this one works really well;
I have a nurse friend who told me she could get cream that they use on burn victims. What would that be all about I wonder.
I also love my aloe plant. I just slice off a piece and slit it open.

Geez ladies, you sure put a lot of stuff on yourself. I just use lots of soap, a dab of face cream and some hand cream when it's really necessary. I don't like all that cosmetics stuff too much, makes me feel all greasy. I feel best when I get out of shower with everything washed off, clean and fresh. Why ruin this with yucky grease products?

To be fair, I can't think of any products that aren't water based anymore. Besides, cream is good for your skin.

Carolyn, I hope you are on high-pampering mode these days! Do you use an oil for the belly? That always felt great at the end of the day. I didn't wanna say anything when KOK was going on about some meal he'd just cooked with coconut oil, but I used coconut oil all the time when I was pregnant. It soaks in really well and helped alleviate the tightness in the belly.
ElLady: there is life beyond soap. Try it, you might enjoy it!
Dayanara, I use that coconut foot cream every night. Isn't awesome, the way it works so incredibly well, plus it smells amazing?

oohhh, that sounds like fun, but how do you 'work' it? ( i mean do you rub it on or what) i only like cosmetic stuff if i can play with it....do you remember that soap from the bodyshop that you could play with like play dough? so much fun |

zub: Each stalk is just filled with the oozy gel and you can just rub it anywhere like that. Its better than any stuff you can buy. Its awesome if you had a cut or even a pimple. Its heals so fast and takes the redness away.
Kitkat: I just found a package coupon for spasation that my hubby bought me awhile back. I'm going on wednesday! 1 hour massage, body scrub and body wrap, facial, yipee! I'll pick up some coconut oil too. You had me at alleviates tightness...

What you eat it's much more important for your skin and body than what you put all over your body, but that's just my opinion.
And Carolyn, it's just delicious, it's yogurt with aloe vera juice and little bits of the cactus inside. Don't you have it over there?

I don't think I could afford all that either. A special cream for my hands, for my feet, several special products for my face, for my body, form my belly... I'm just a poor student and I need to eat (sometimes). I like the idea of having an Aloe Vera plant though. Sounds fun and useful. And a little eccentric. Are those difficult and/or expensive to get?

I don't wear too much cosmetic stuff at all, I swear you guys aren't paying attention, moisturiser addict and the odd spot of kohl. If I'm feeling ker-azy some mental shade of eyeshadow (gold/green be my current favourite, I need to find some nice matching bhindi's for the summer though). Lip balm because I'm a smoker and don't want dry mouth nastiness. Minimal but sparkly I like.
It is, however, nice to go on a little mental pamper session every now and then, this thread has made me empty wednesdays appointments for that.
I hope that I will live to see you undress |

Good point, kittie! An appreciation for bath/moisture products and spa treatments doesn't translate into overuse of make-up or perfume. I'm all about subtle (even in the cut of my clothes). I do maniacally tend to my cuticles but my nails are short and unvarnished. (Nothing is gaudier than bright talons where neat nails ought to be.)
