A point of order: Kim's mid-reunion tour shorter hair cut is called a shag. She looks cute with it.
Now back to more photos of guys!

I remember going for it hammer and tongues with some shaven headed Aussie girl in Byron Bay and thinking "I wish I was doing this with your mate who has more hair". I could have to but this girl just grabbed me and it was game over.
I guess floop WAS right!

Dare I ask what "hammer and tongues" means or should those of us who are not British use our imagination?

Where's Wilhelm when you need him? His cat is the personification of evil. Like tofu in a feline form.

God bless you, Llamadance, you've made my day! I guess word of my obssession with Bob Mould has made it across the pond. Oh, to be given the chance to make him switch teams!
I'd better just take this whole thing over to the Pix Of Beautiful Men thread.

Not in the same league at all - this guy looks rather like Plastic Bertrand with leukemia or something - but who knows, if you do love the bald head look:

Yes. Once we hit 35, our left hands turn into razors and shave our heads, whether we want to or not. It's a really odd genetic condition. Only .02% of all people have it.

Which is our second main reason for making fun of him. The first one being that, well, he's Plastic Bertrand.

Oh. I'm sorry to hear that your friend is sick, Zub. I do hope he gets better.
Kathryn, while I'm here, I might as well give you
Bartabas (he's a French guy who does live shows with horses)
I'd thought of someone else, but then my computer crashed and I forgot who it was. Doing too many things at the same time.

Kathryn, I knew you were going to say this ! But I don't make the rules. It's a fact of life that Belgians are ridiculed in France, like Canadians are ridiculed in the US, and US citizens are ridiculed just about everywhere else.
Don't make me draw you a map of my ancestry! (My mother's parents were from Belgium.)
You don't like Bartabas, then. I'll take him back.

Just think of your Greek ascent when I make Belgian jokes, and of your Belgian education when Darwin makes fun of the Greek... and that's you sorted!
Wow, I just delivered life changing advice. Gotta write a self-help book, quick, while I'm inspired!

jediroller, I have a Belgian accent when I speak French; a Cypriot accent when I speak Greek; and a Brooklyn accent when I speak English. So I am made fun of by many people in many circumstances and languages. darwin's punk-ass attitude doesn't bother me. He's just jealous that he's not half-Greek.

OK, Carolyn. This is scary. I have actually met him. THREE TIMES. Three fucking times, once for a good half-hour the two of us hung out at a bar talking and having drinks before a Blue Rodeo show. And I didn't recognize the photo. I think I am having early Alzheimer's. Sometimes I truly worry about this being the case.
Also, I would like to reassure you and all Canadian immigration officials that I ADORE Tragically Hip and that New Orleans is sinking and I don't wanna swim.

"Cool!" I have practically lost all my long-term memory and you think it's cool?
He's kinda softspoken but also funny and attentive, polite. You know when you notice that a man is looking at you and listening to you when you're speaking, that you notice he's being polite? That way. Even if he weren't Gord Downie and even if he didn't look as good as he does, you'd still find him attractive because of his personality.
