They usually seem to interview names as big as FB, let's hope he's not feeling shy tonight :)

Better captures than I got :) my TV reception's a tad fuzzy. This freeview malarky would be good if I ever have a spare £50 that I can avoid spending on more RAM.

Looks like a Gibson. Nice axe, Frank.

This will probably be in alt.binaries.mpeg.video.music by next week.

As Cheesy said, "I Burn Today", just the Man and a guitar. I think that's it, sadly. Sounded better than the recording I've heard though.

Eels are like the proverbial bus... you hear nothing from them for years, then three songs come along in one night.

The Eels are pretty good though right? I know what you mean, I can remember Novocaine For The Soul, Susan's House and Beautiful Blues, and thats about it. Pretty excellent tonight though, and I may also have to look into Van Morrison's new album, that was great.

The whore was Martha Wainwright, by the way.

why does John Legend get three average performances, when we could have had so much more Frank. Sort it out Jools

Oh, the Eels make brilliant, haunting music. However, 'e' (I believe his real name is Mark Everett) has the kind of creative block that makes Rivers Cuomo look productive.

What the fuck? I really, really don't like the Kaiser Chiefs.

Or as we refer to them in my flat, the Kaiser Chefs. They're not very pretty, I tell thee.

Right, I'm in the Soulseek chatroom with a load of pictures and an MP3 of the performance. It's in the first 'Frank Black' directory you come to.

Whaa? The guy has done like 7 albums with the eels since 96! And they're all awesome. Weezer have done 5 since 94, 2 fantastic, 3 mediocre.

Urm... let me rephrase that... every release since Beautiful Freak has been pretty low key (with the possibly exception of Souljacker) and I've struggled to keep up with them.

Oh, and I think you mean 4 fantastic, 1 mediocre :P

It was a tasty Gibson.

I would've missed Daisys completely if I hadn't have seen Beautiful Blues on CD:UK... *ahem*

Could be me but
Martha Wainwright was stunning with her song Bloody Motherfucking Asshole
it's great
it's long ok
but I burn today is pretty long too

I guess Frank was too busy to do more than one song or something
or not up for it
dunno
seems he had more to do that day
(playing I burn today at the Beeb)

I like the kaiser chiefs
but you know
they aren't a hype here (yet)
and I only know one song

I even liked John Legend
pretty nice for that kind of music
