She also has nicely manicured hands. Or is that just how they are? Do you get manicures? I used to.

Those swallows on his forearms!!!!
And Homer could you please hurry up and post some pics now? Or are you going to let this descend into the standard "Homer post a pic" begging?
And he's not the only one holding out.
I did but they came down.

Mike put up two pictures of his his different markings. The first was a small character that represented music. The second one was a much larger one on his shoulder that I think symbolized a dragon.
Personally, I thought they were cool, not show-offy at all.

Personally, I think Sir Mikeabye is too young to be looking at pictures like Nicole's. We should give this thread a certificate.

You know, Simon, I thought about saying something like that but I think that's ageist, or whatever that's called. The Rock's as big a part of this forum as anyone. I, for one, have never sought to shield him from our slovenly, godless ways. Rock on and post the pix, I say.

I'm flattered that Cheeseman would be looking out for my best interests. My knight in shining armor.
But, I'm also glad that Kathryn and Floop are willing to contribute to my development of more "slovenly and godless ways". Ah, the internet.

Your best interests? You know what your best interests are: stay in school and then get a good job, so you can afford all the music, books, travel and fine wine money can buy. Or something.

I believe it was Mike who correctly stated my best interests. Become a guitar tech for the Pixies on this summer's tour.
And Floop, you can go soak your head.

Um, no, I believe I was the one who quickly jumped on your "what job should I get this summer" thread with the brilliant idea that you become Kim Deal's personal guitar tech. (Now go polish my waffle stomper storm trooper boots. Also, do you hem mini skirts?)

I'll email you. I feel bad enough detracting this thread as much as I already have.
Back to the topic of tattoos, I had a question to tattoo owners. Do you grow tired of your tattoo, or regret your decision to get one? I've always seen thats as a big detractor to getting one, the whole attitude of "Well, what if I don't like it five years down the road?".

No, I don't see a tattoo in my near future (or just plain 'ol future, for that matter). I think what really turned me off was seeing a friend of mine get drunk and get a 12" tall Sid Vicious tattoo on their hip/ass. That was about as tasteless as they came. Turned me off of the idea.

I vote you somehow compell your friend to pose his/her hip/butt so you can take a photo of said 12'' Sid tattoo and post it here.

Thank you Cheese.
Thank you Kathryn - I almost didn't post that pic because I thought my nails looked dirty!
Homer I'm dissappointed your pics came down - they weren't show offy at all and now you're making me think I need to take mine down.
Sir Rock - in answer to your question I love mine to bits but chose to have it somewhere I couldn't see it without looking in the mirror or doing a fair bit of contorting to see it, so that I wouldn't get bored of it easily. I spent over 10 years deciding on what to get and whether I actually wanted one. I have friends with beautiful tattoos and friends with awful tattoos. It's with you for life, so you might as well be 100% sure that what you are getting is what you want and so there's not really any rush to get it either seeing as it will be around for as long as you are. |
