I deleted a bunch of stuff on my C drive that I shouldn't have deleted and now whenever I try to enter Windows the message pops up that "NTLDR is missing. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart". I recall a thread in the past in which NimrodsSon had trouble connecting to the internet. This is a similar thread. If anyone knows how to help me, great. But I'm not relying on you. (That'd be pretty sick, actually: I act like an idiot, screw up my computer, and then expect you to take all your time to clean up my own self-inflicited mess.) I'm just wondering if there's any hope. How do computers work, anyway? Does a computer easily fix itself? Is a human virus easily comparable to a computer virus---interesting similarities? How much does a computer rely on its user to not act carelessly?
I didn't even realize I made this thread. I thought my computer got locked up before I posted this topic. Anyway, my main priority is not my computer right now, but thanks for posting the website, Perk. I don't even really know what windows version I'm using. Some overrated windows-xp. Don't know the year.
