1. What is the one dish you cook particularly well?
This Orzo pasta dish I threw together once and ended up having requests for, so I have been making it ever since.
2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting?
Hawaii
3. What are your hobbies, besides Frank's music?
Currently.....singing (mostly blues), gardening, slowly learning to play the piano, and even more slowly...restoring the 100 year old farm we moved to about 9 months ago.
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often?
I don't have tons of friends, but the ones I do I have had for many MANY years.
5. Divulge right here and now your deepest secret!
Don't really have a secret, but certainly things I don't openly share with everyone. I will give you one of those......I have endometreosis been told I can't have children.
6. What's your favorite color of your favorite car?
Silver
7. What are you superstitious about?
Can't think of anything.
8. Have you ever had a nervous tic?
No.
9. What are you compulsive about, other than Frank's music?
I really like to keep the car picked up at all times whenever possible. You know....no trash or garbage on the floor, or stuff that should have been brought into the house.
10. What's the worst trouble your compulsive behavior's gotten you into?
I accidentally threw out all these new socks my husband bought. He had placed them in a shoe box in the trunk of the car and I was cleaning...and I didn't look inside first. Luckily they weren't too expensive and we were able to have a good laugh about it. I now look in all boxes before throwing or burning them.

2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting?
Paris Hilton's bedroom.

What you can see on my very modest website. I try to write from time to time. And I spend too much goddamn time on the Internet.
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often?
I'm sort of a long-term person, but I'm really crap at keeping things alive.

I haven't really been following this thread recently, but I might as well answer these last two surveys.
Round 8 - Music
1. What song(s) would you like played at your funeral? I haven't really thought much about it.
2. What is the first CD/album/cassette you bought? Something by Weird Al, I think. Maybe Off the Deep End?
3. What's the lamest concert you've attended? Voices on the Verge, I guess
4. Who is the artist you'd most like to see live for the first time? Ideally, Andy Partridge. More realistically, Scott McCaughey.
5. What was your favorite musical poster in your teenhood bedroom? I didn't really have any. I did buy a few pictures of Weird Al when I was in high school.
6. What is the first song you learned to play? I've never actually played a "real" song.
7. Who is the artist you've seen in concert the most? TMBG
Round 9: Revenge of the Jediroller Potpourri
1. What is the one dish you cook particularly well? I don't think I cook anything all that well, but I make decent spaghetti, as long as the sauce is already prepared. Which means I really don't do all that much work.
2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting? Los Angeles. The one in South California.
3. What are your hobbies, besides Frank's music? Reading, writing, spending a lot of time online
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often? I've had so few real friends in my lifetime that I don't really have a good answer. I guess the latter, much to my disappointment.
5. Divulge right here and now your deepest secret! I'm the one who put the ram in the rama-lama-ding-dong.
6. What's your favorite color of your favorite car? I don't know. Green?
7. What are you superstitious about? I'm really not superstitious, but I AM paranoid.
8. Have you ever had a nervous tic? Too many to list, really
9. What are you compulsive about, other than Frank's music? Mostly Internet stuff
10. What's the worst trouble your compulsive behavior's gotten you into? My compulso-what?
I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied. |

Round 8 - Music (I've tried to avoid repeating past forum questions)
1. What song(s) would you like played at your funeral?
I´d write something funky, with red noses and capes passed out to all mourners.
2. What is the first CD/album/cassette you bought?
A Guns n Roses single.
3. What's the lamest concert you've attended?
Funnily enough, it was Beck stinking out the place after a great start at a rave in Dublin, though the year before that he put on one of the best shows I´ve ever seen.
4. Who is the artist you'd most like to see live for the first time?
Tom Waits, David Byrne.
5. What was your favorite musical poster in your teenhood bedroom?
A bluetinted Soundgarden one.
6. What is the first song you learned to play?
Bombtrack by Rage Against The Machine, or Mellowship Slinky by Chili Peppers.
7. Who is the artist you've seen in concert the most?
Ash 3 times though they were all support slots, so intentionally it would be Lee Scratch Perry, Beck, Therapy or Pearl Jam.
Round 9: Revenge of the Jediroller Potpourri
1. What is the one dish you cook particularly well?
A tomato thing with sauteed mushrooms.
2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting?

3. What are your hobbies, besides Frank's music?
Painting, mostly inks and grafitti, writing letters in parks, secondhand bookshops (mostly for secondhand bookshop smell).
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often?
I change friends all the time: last week I brought to market a narcoleptic chess hustler I go way back with and swapped him for a weaselbaiting enthusiast with a withered arm - I´m hoping to get a couple years out of this baby.
5. Divulge right here and now your deepest secret!
Ha if that´s what we post here I wonder what the real stuff is?
6. What's your favorite color of your favorite car?
Cars I can take or leave.
7. What are you superstitious about?
Nothing.
8. Have you ever had a nervous tic?
Talking to yourself count? did that for years.
9. What are you compulsive about, other than Frank's music?
I try to avoid ritual and routine as much as possible.
10. What's the worst trouble your compulsive behavior's gotten you into?

1. What is the one dish you cook particularly well?
I grill a mean burger.
2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting?
Nowhere really, I love to travel even if it's to someplace shitty.
3. What are your hobbies, besides Frank's music?
Collecting records and concert posters. Is alcoholism a hobby?
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often?
I try to as much as possible, but some people are just difficult to maintain friendships with.
5. Divulge right here and now your deepest secret!
In college I briefly experimented with the music of the Dave Matthews Band. But I didn't like it and I didn't inhale. I swear!
6. What's your favorite color of your favorite car?
I think silver looks good on most cars.
7. What are you superstitious about?
I wish people would quit sending me those email chain letters. I know they're bullshit, but deleting them gives me the heebie jeebies.
8. Have you ever had a nervous tic?
I stammer. I didn't used to. I think I picked it up from watching too many episodes of Dr. Katz.
9. What are you compulsive about, other than Frank's music?
Back to the record collecting again... Why the hell do I have three copies of London Calling?
10. What's the worst trouble your compulsive behavior's gotten you into?
Sometimes I choose buying records over paying the bills. Not smart...
