Round 9: Revenge of the Jediroller Potpourri
1. What is the one dish you cook particularly well? Probably steak and chips, but I tend to overdo the steak!
2. What is the one place on earth everybody raves about but you have no interest in visiting? Disappointmentville.
3. What are your hobbies, besides Frank's music? Watching movies, listening to and creating music, reading and drawing.
4. Do you maintain friendships for a long time or do you change friends often? I have acore of long term friends. I find it hard to make friends with people, I find it hard, to be honest.
5. Divulge right here and now your deepest secret! I'm a miserable freak.
6. What's your favorite color of your favorite car? Don't really have one. Maybe a nice dark blue.
7. What are you superstitious about? Don't step on the cracks type things. Irrational, but human!
8. Have you ever had a nervous tic? Probably had several. The most pronounced is my shakey knee!!
9. What are you compulsive about, other than Frank's music? Finding instant gratification for myself. A childish way of dealing with depression!!
10. What's the worst trouble your compulsive behavior's gotten you into? Made things hard for me to deal with in general. Delayed myself and other people!!

hWolwsky....
I just have to jump in and say that I was once attacked by knife point. This was about 8 years ago. By the grace of God I was able to get away, but authorities suspect that the person who attacked me was the same serial rapist and killer that had already killed two people in the area. It was the most horrifying experience of my life.
I find your comment about raping incredibly insensitive and not even remotely funny. If you indeed suffer from these delusions. I suggest you get yourself from help. |

I agree it was an insensitive answer with nothing redeemable other than honesty (if he was being serious). I know the question required honesty, but I think some sensitivity wouldn't go amiss with such a subject.
I am very sorry to hear about your horrific experience mosleyk. I hope it doesn't haunt you too much now.

1. Favorite album of 2005? - So far, I guess I might say "The Beekeeper," by Tori Amos. Most of the albums I've gotten this year have been far from their respective bands' best work. There's still quite a bit I'm looking forward to, though.
2. Best concert you attended this year so far? - David Lowery and Johnny Hickman, semi-acoustic
3. Your favorite current hit song? - I don't even know what's a hit nowadays.
4. Recent hit movie that you thought sucked? I'm sure most of them did. I don't watch movies at the theater very often, though.
5. Favorite book that was released this year? I don't think I've read any yet. Based on her track record and what I've heard about it, though, I'm guessing Sarah Vowell's "Assassination Vacation" is good.
I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied. |
