You're right, I listened to it again while not washing the dishes.

Oh my god, I was gonna post this just now. I spent parts of Thursday night at Reading Festival singing Vaseline loudly to anyone nearby.

How I discovered bloc party: I got a new computer the other day and my friend spent 4 hours setting it up for me while I was at work. As a fee he downloaded this Bloc party album off my itunes. I haven't been able to stop playing it. I'm working on sending Kathryn the last two songs off their album (via email). They were extremely likeable on the first spin which is rare. Highly recommend.

But surely Kathryn already has their album if she says it's great?
By the way, welcome back KOK, I meant to start an MIA thread about you yesterday, but forgot in my posting frenzy. Where have you been?

The Deram Anthology includes the very first Bowie album which remains for me a priceless and ageless treasure. Love on you.

I've been listening to this quite a bit recently:
And I listened to this all the way through a few days ago (although that might not sound like much if you don't realize it's three discs long):
I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied. |

I have that on double cassette tape somewhere, except I lost one of the tapes. Some of it is very funny. |

After a shitty day at work, rolling a fine one and sitting back to let Henry do all the talking is my latest therapy.

I've seen them both do spoken word live (both times in Vicar St., Dublin). Almost did'nt get into Jello, did'nt have a ticket and managed to buy one off someone outside. Missed a little bit of him. I have a few photos of Rollins, they're pretty crap though. I was at the back and it's quite dark. |

I like DK well enough but Jello (I'm sad to say) has turned into a acerbic windbag regurgitating his idealism to anyone who will listen. My friend went to see him speak once and after four hours the employees of the venue he was speaking at had to literally force him off the stage. |
