Dear Scott! Tilt is a monument but so apocalyptic!
I prefer the moods of this dantesque cover album. Walker made me love Brel!
So did Marc...

I can not get into anything before Climate of Hunter.
Seems dated and irritates me somewhat.

Tilt, though, is incredible.
I've been listening to it nearly non-stop for the past couple of days. "Farmer In The City" in particular.
"And I used to be a citizen I never felt the pressure I knew nothing of the horses nothing of the thresher."
Gah!

In protest and outrage, this is in heavy rotation. So angry about their hometown gig being sold out I could spit.

Punk covers that I can't get enough of
Stoner tastic heavyness with dirty vocals - exceptional album
dancy hardcore
More stoner sludgy with a touch of hardcore
Jazzy rock - very highly recommended
Lead me not into temptation; I can find the way myself. |

Kudos. Pretty weak by Kinks standards, but I like "Pressure" quite a bit.

Been in the car with me for a few days. I don't really like it, but I can't be bothered to hit EJECT.

(How's that mix coming along, Brian?)
Siouxsie and the Banshees live at London's Royal Albert Hall in 1983. Still sounding damned good. Anybody else into these guys?

In preparation for the concert that I saw on Friday.
I was a little disappointed with this, but it's growing on me. It's jazzier than their earlier albums, and I'm not a big jazz fan, but there are a few songs I've come to appreciate a lot more. Besides, "Psychedelic Polka" is amazing.

It's an album of bluegrass mixes of Cracker songs. Cool stuff.

A pure eastern beauty every morning in my ears...
You know what, this one is a good album! Some really good songs including the brilliant cover of "John The Revelator" Typically Depeche Mode-esque 90's era but defenitely catchy unlike Exciter which was a crap-hype production... Longing to see them in February. Move your hips!!!
