Here comes the Warm Jets - ENO

"Spider and I sit watching the sky
On a world without sound
We knit a web to catch one tiny fly
For our world without sound
We sleep in the mornings
We dream of a ship that sails away
A thousand miles away."

Here we are, fellows....

Ahh, Certainly for the lucky ones who listenned to it. The first Eno album I discovered somewhere in Brighton... And for a long time a radical cure against depression...
A propos Eno, Have you heard his latest album??

Yes... And I have to say that i only listenned to it twice... Not catchy, kind of cheap in production (Eno, cheap... never thought I could mix those two words in the same a sentence)... It was supposed to be a vocal album. Yes, you can GUESS his voices through the vocoder (the same as Cher... sic!)but it s NOT a vocal album... It is an ambient album just like the ones he released in the 10 past years with abstract and dis-humanized voice. It sounds a lot like U2, with little arpegos actually... From a very personnal point of view, it then does not sound good to me... Big disapointment in the end... I loved the MODERN dimension of ENO's music. This album is merely CONTEMPORARY...

Anyway in the family, I am waiting for the new John Cale album in September (concert in October in Paris) because I liked Hobosapiens... Good tunes and REAL voice on it.

yes, I like Hobosapiens too, although I'm not a big John Cale fan, but I think it's one of his best albums

"The Bedsit Tapes" by Soft Cell. Early Demos. Amazing!

Joy Divisionesque with something hard to describe. Disturbing words.

because it's a mix of fun ones and old ones and it reminds me of the movie

because it's always on in the car..I keep forgetting to bring new cd's, and this is what my boyfriend wants to listen to.

I love this one, great to sing along to.

b-sides and rareties. A mix of old songs by nick cave and the bad seeds that never made it to the albums. also lies in the car but right now it's under the seat. sorry about the size, again

must be a devil between us!

This is briliant and homely:

Found this in the house the other day, quite frothy and pleasant. Music for when you're washing the dishes or housecleaning:
