unfortunately i have to so in order to save people. i assure you that i will stop posting as soon as my god driven campaign ends succesfully but more probably when gf's mother leaves town which is due to tomorrow (you may be familiar with the greek term mounoeilotas that will explain any future absence). and keep in mind that it's never too late to give a good example.

Yes, I am familiar with that term, Mun.
Speaking of mother Ellas, it may be time for you to return, my fellow Greek. Look at what is happening to you living so close to the Vatican: you speak of a "god driven campaign." You sound just like the pope. Or George Bush!
Floop, it's working. Your sig being so close to your posts makes everything blend together, seamlessly, as if every post is made even more relevant by the sig, which it is! This is even wilder than how Surfer's sig just flows so beautifully with whatever she's saying in her post.
How do you do it, floop?

you stayed away from motherland way too long so you missed the god driven campaigns of our beloved bishop Christodoulos that started a referendum against id cards that do not clearly state your religion. maybe you are aware of the latest kinky scandals of the greek orthodox church including stuff like sodomy, off shore companies and drug dealers (facts) that are ending with a simple prayer to god almighty and nobody ending behind bars. god driven campaigns are the latest trend and greeks invented them well before GWB and moreover still make them better.

True, true. We are so good at that sort of thing. It's a point of pride. (Actually, I caught the ID card brouhaha, when I was sto xorio four summers ago.) So you're saying that if I don't go along with your god-driven plan here, I will once again be going against the Greek Orthodox church? That's not very persuasive, Mun. I've been going against my church for many decades now, despite what my yiayia tells me to do.

you are talking to someone that opened the door to a priest that came to bless our house in his iron maiden t-shirt and boxers and moreover gave him nothing for his effort(still laugh when i remember the priest's face, one of the funniest things ever seen). i added god driven just to be trendy that's all. if there is something else that makes it to you i'll be glad to add.

I didn't participate in Buy Nothing Day, or the Day of Silence, or the Great American Meat-Out, or Don't Spend One Damn Dime Day, or Don't Buy Any Gas Day; and I won't be participating in this, at least not intentionally. Of course, if no one else is posting, I probably won't say much for the simple reason that there will be nothing to reply to.

I think the concept behind the idea is a good one and I support the concept. I will try not to post on saturday... but I didn't know about the whole ticket thing so I might post because of that. |

I don't like the concept of people telling other people when not to do things.

Surfer and I are preparing a manifesto. As soon as our collective decides on what the appropriate language (terms that will not offend any parties) we will be delivering our manifesto via a neutral party. Basically, we are going to protest the very basis for your idea, Mun. We are going to provide a point-by-point answer, as all good revolutionaries have their facts straight and know their rights and their history.
Signed,

My school reports always said I had trouble understanding the concept of authority and I have a problem with being told what to do - especially if I don't feel like it or see the point.
So here I am, I'll be back later and you losers who are simply resorting to lurking today instead of posting can kiss my ass.

Who said that, NS? Is that an original quote of yours or that most wonderful Thoreau? Or...?

You know, I've never really understood that saying. If someone is revolting, wouldn't they want the conditions of the revolt to be met as soon as possible, after which there would be no more need for revolution? Or is it just saying that the CONCEPT of revolution should continue for a long time?
