My mother hated that dress though, threw it away without telling me.

you guys really wanted to know that huh.

I'll guess the midget t shirt is a lie, because short people are not for sport.

Only partially true. This is more of a contest than a sport. Per se, of course.
I've got the midget T on, but no Hawaii shirt.

Today I received in the mail:
- a wedding invitation
- a student loan statement
- an Extreme Pie catalogue

I'm like a lost snail in the night.

Darwin, I'm going to guess you haven't listened to the Duke Ellington album.

Things I've eaten today:
1. Cheese steak
2. Ham sandwich
3. Pizza

Vovat was right (no, Duke, that was yesterday)
Brian was wrong (about Eyeball and about Grown Backwards being better. I really like Eyeball. I've only listened to Grown Backwards twice. THe first time I was disappointed and the second two some songs were growing on me. I can do without the operatic pieces and Rufus Wainwright.)

Brian hasn't been drinking

Yup, no pie catalogue per se. It's actually Extreme Pie, which is the Extreme Sports channel's website shop, but still.

-Called Jarvis Cocker a "dork" right to his face
-Played a Robbie Williams song live on Radio One

foo fighters/talk show/verbena @ roseland ballroom 1997 (talk show was stone temple pilots with a different singer)
beck/flaming lips @ the beacon theater, halloween 2002 (beck covered 'do you realize?')

I'm gonna say the Beck/Lips show. I dunno why, I just am..

And I have once performed a Robbie Williams songs (on drums) on BBC Radio One! And all my punk cred dissapeared in that short space of time. I've never met Jarvis Cocker (he of Pulp, for those not in the know), and probly would never call him a dork.

I agree with Doog on the Beck show.

Kitten, you never got into trouble about the blue hair.

Last night I at the Alabama Thunderpussy gig:

Lost my favourite 7 year old(!) fish lighter

Hid from the creepy man behind the merch stand

    Fainted like a victorian lady

Nic, did you really faint? No, you did not? Did you?

    In my town there is:

    • no computer store but there is a shop that fixes manual typewriters
    • no Burger King, Wendy's, Arby's, Kenny Rogers, KFC, TGIF, Chillis or Friendly's
    • no building higher than two stories

Kathryn - no building higher than 2 stories

And yes, I did faint *is mortally embarressed*

I now have a large lump on my head bruises all down my one arm, and graised knuckles on my one hand - plus it all happened just as ATP were hitting their stride. Plus it was bearded tattoo heaven.

Not to rub it in but I have never fainted.

    But I have

    • passed out in an elevator in Puerto Rico, wearing nothing
but a bikini and going up and down floor after floor. Um, too
many poolside fruity tropical drinks with umbrellas in them.
It was before noon. Well before noon. But so many years ago.

    • vomited into every single sink at my college dorm bathroom.
Five sinks. Five upchucks. One night. Many drinks.

    • run naked in front of a whole hockey team.

Brian, you don't have a sister! And you are right, I'm never
one to streak. Flash, sure; streak, no. A girl has her
    limits!

Clarification: there are only two buildings in my town
that have more than two stories. A 3-story one (no elevator)
    and a 5-story one (w. 2 elevators).

the reasons my chicken sucked that i made tonight:

    didn't defrost properly

well, the 2 reasons were shitty marinade and poor defrosting. who'd have thought that ALL DAY wasn't enough time. i'm so impatient.

my laundromat story is quite uneventful. first catholics show i saw i got there insanely early (as i always do) and saw charles and mcdave coming out of a laundromat. too chicken to say hi. said it later at a bad time and he ignored me. i hated him (charles) until the music started. then i loved him again. next two times i met the man he was much much friendlier. i probably had better timing those times as well.

you never met neko case (but if you do, kidnap her for me!)

    i have met:
