I thought someone may ask that. It was a hot baguette with the filling that was left over from my fajitas the other night. It also had lots of sour cream.

I had pepperoni Hot Pockets last night. No time to prepare a proper meal. I might get some Chick-fil-A shortly, since I have to go the mall anyway.
I was all out of luck, like a duck that died. I was all out of juice, like a moose denied. |

Every time you mention Hot Pockets I still have my own idea as to what they are.
I had a tasty piece of rare rump, green salad with sprouted buckwheat.

Surfer, Hot Pockets ought not incite interest in you, culinary or otherwise. No offense to fb.net fans of the Hot Pocket, but they are gross, mass-produced microwavable pasty things with fillings. Ugh.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Catholics |

Oh the "hot pocket" I'm thinking of is not a culinary delight in the slightest.

I had a chicken pot pie. It was a frozen one, but it's a really good kind of frozen one, that you can apparently only get in my area.

I had Strontaprezzi something or other. Chicken/pesto/creme fraiche pasta, basically, courtesy of Zizzi's in Finchley. Good food.

Sheer blasphemy adding sausage - you're messing with perfection there Floop. And why are you posting that here and not in the I had sex last night or whatever it's called thread?
I think I've found the ultimate hot sauce btw, Linghams, a Malaysian ginger garlic and chilli sauce - I'm finding it to be like crack. I've got some avos ripening for the test as to how it works with your recipe.

I made chicken cacciatore tonight with rice and fresh brocolli. This is after a week of somebody sick each day and lots of crappy dinners.

Chili Con Carne is not Mexican.
I had some chicken in tomato sauce with potatoes and peas, it has a name but I can't remember.

“detestable food passing itself off as Mexican, sold in the U.S. from Texas to New York.”
Now that's harsh. I love chili con carne. But I hate when so-called "Mexican" restaurants have it on their menu. Paris is full of these.

I cooked my own made up and much requested pasta dish which for some unknown reason is called "Dunkel" which I think is dark in German.
Orichetti (sp?), steamed brocolli, chilli, good italian sausage and marsalla.

i've heard that "pizza" was originally invented by the Egyptians. but i've also heard Romans
that's the thing about these things.. there's no real clear cut definition. i mean, i still consider Southwest Mexican food mexican. burritos are not commonly found in Mexico, but they are popular in the Southwest. but they're still Mexican.

I have just had (as explained elsewhere) lamb chops (fried with a little oregano and lemon juice), with cous cous and salad. I was going to do something a little fancy, but the kitchen light has irreparably blown, meaning I had to do it before dark!
