Last night, to illustrate using search engines, I asked my students to google for 'rabbits' with the intention of switching the search to an image search. I then remembered that there is a well known sex toy called the rabbit, and became paranoid about what would turn up on an image search. Consequently I had to explain to my students why I didn't want them to do the image search. I'm now paranoid about whether I offended anyone or not. (although one woman kept on saying that it had been discontinued :D)

Maybe they thought you were afraid that they'd turn up pictures of old Volkswagens.

the forum isn't dead, its just that three of its coolest members (kathryn, myself and sir rockabye) were hanging out w/ reid paley in brooklyn before the pixies went on. so everyone else had to shut up and take notice.

This from another forum - it's referring to eclipses:

There's a partial eclipse tomorrow in the UK and Europe and doubtless a few other places.

Nope, just a shoe-gazing kid from 1990.

Are you mocking the nineties kids Brian? Seeing as how you suggested the shirt over t-shirt look?

what i mean simon was to button up the shirt over the tee, and then if it got hot, take the plaid shirt off.
and i would NEVER mock the 90s. as i once told a friend to his great enjoyment, the 90s were my 80s, man.

Happiness is listening to my five year old play his guitar through a ridiculously expensive tube amp, even though he was supposed to be in bed 45 minutes ago.

I'm wondering if the big threads are stifling conversation on the forum. I'd post a thread on it, but it fits nicely in here.

That I would've paid money to have seen Mike's dad (the richest cheapest mean guy) find out that he couldn't get a mortgage on a house he wants to flip because he co-signed a loan for $1000 years ago for Dave (same deadbeat that got D's bike stolen) which Dave never paid and now dear daddy has to pay it (now $5000) if he wants the mortgage.

How did it go? Are your legs better? How do you keep down the pain in your legs? I have to limit my running because my knees just hurt if I do it too often, it seems. Have you done a half marathon before? Whole marathon?
