my friend steve had this dream where he was in a plane crash, and then he'd 'wake up' on an airplane and crash again - this happened like 10 times. finally, he 'woke up' in his bed and he went out to his living room and our friend matt was there dressed as the devil and said 'you will burn in hell' and then he REALLY woke up. but listening to the song he did about it, if you know the story it makes sense, but if not, it just sounds cool and obscure. thats sort of the vibe i'm going for.

I feel that way when I write a good paragraph or songline sometime, it's cause it's naked and it probably has a lot of energy.

Ding Ding Ding Ding!! C and Denis win the prize! It's some kind of grilled or sauteed cornmeal patty with cheese inside and a hint of ground up meat, I think. I just tasted one the other day. There is a south american bakery that I am headed for that has something similar-a cachapa I think it is called, as well as amazing egg dishes. Anyway Floop and someone else were sitting in front of me and eating these papousas things and had queso and I was pissed because they wouldn't share and it looked really delicious. That was far as the dream went with Floop anyway!

Yes, and you try to cut out all of the bad spots and are left with a few slivers.
Was it from Chile? How is it that we live in California and yet the avocados seem to be from Chile half the time and they're tiny. |

Today and tomorrow and Friday are going to be the best three days in the history of days, a scintillating trio that will leave me speechless and giddier than ever. The sun will shine brighter than ever and the air will whisper sweet things and the planets will be aligned perfectly and I can hear every bird on earth sing a sweet song.

But the planets are nowhere near aligning! If there were enough of a shift in the solar system to make them align out of schedule, it would probably cause a cataclysm drastic enough to wipe out all life on Earth. And that wouldn't be good at all, would it?
And if the planets are going to be moving around, I'd also be a bit suspicious about that brighter sun.

Need any feedback, Surfer?
I am excited b/c Texas State Fair starts tomorrow and is always a must-see event. Basically it combines good weather for the most part with great junk food, americana, music, sights, all kinds of cool things. New cars, rides, music, shows (once saw German bell players or something-really from Germany), oh and my personal favorite: The US Marine Corps Band. Before you laugh, they are amazing. The brass sound is so perfect that it has literally brought lumps to my throat. The smells, people watching, Texas/OU football game (played right there in the Cotton Bowl) and high school band competitions, you name it and it has it. Bird Show, Dog Show, pig racing, cat acrobatic show (it sucked), biggest ferris wheel in the US, livestock auctions, petting zoo with a psycho ostridge. They have the best corny dogs of all time (Fletcher's Corny Dogs-seriously legendary here in Texas). Salespeople demonstrating all kinds of things like juicers, new cookware, salsa makers, tennis shoe whiteners, metal detectors. It is a great time. My buddies just called and are going tomorrow night but I have busiest day of month at work tomorrow and will have to work until probably 10 PM dammit. Anyway, weather plunged just in time from 100 degrees Wednesday to 60's right now.

What the hell have I done.
I am now a brunette. It seems to be making many people laugh and after many many years of trying to get me to go brunette the other half took next to no time in telling me he prefers me as a blonde.
