It was great fun, but my legs still hurt. It was my second half marathon and finished in just under 1hr 45 mins (9 minutes faster than last time). I'm sure that was because it was much cooler this time round.
I get some knee problems too, but I've found that by gradually increasing my mileage (and not running too fast in training) it doesn't seem to hurt as much (or as often) as I thought it would.
I'm working up to a full marathon next year, hopefully in June. Depends if I get in, the places are usually oversubscribed and it comes down to a ballot. Actually, I can't wait, I'm itching to do it.
That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
