The threaded views are definately the biggest use.

It can be a bigger pain, but that depends on if you have other things to do...which i dont. I spend all day checking my email. I need a life.

It kind of is, but it seems to be almost a necessity in this day and age. If one stops working, it's nice to have a backup. Also, some people have separate business and personal addresses.

In Gmail, is it possible to change the subject line of a reply?

I just sent my first Gmail message a little earlier, so I'm just getting to grips with it. I deleted my Homail account.
