Okay...so I was in San Fransisco last week on a business trip, and had some free time so I decided to wander through China Town. Wasn't long before I found myself surrounded by images of the SMYT album cover and I just couldn't help myself. I even bought a tea set with the lucky cat on it (now referred to at home as the "Frank Black teaset"). I don't normally impulse buy, but I just had to. Afterall, the lucky cat is everywhere on this site and is even popping up on the forum banner as I write this.
Anyone else start a lucky cat collection after SMYT came out?
No, but I've seen these creatures over the years in thift stores and antique stores. Anthough I won't mine having one for fun I wouldn't start a collection.
