Thank you Brian and Cheese, I'm with a lot of work, so it wouldn't be easy for me to make it on time.

I'm totally against a "French actual music" mix cause I don't like French actual music.

That's typical french negativism! I wasn't going to put Jenifer, Priscilla, Lorie, Steeve, Obispo, Pagny, Calogero or French RnB. May be a little M, Phoenix, Cali, Tahiti 80, Air, but I can understand it doesn't sound to you as exotic as Rita's mix.

Exotic? I wonder why do you say that...I would call it weird or maybe boring!

I'm ok with the timing, I've already checked, I had enough material to make a full CD of songs with the word ROCK in the title.

Man, I always sleep through these things. Is there still a spot left? If so you can smack me down for classical, I guess.

rules? send out your cds on time, stick to your genre, no fb/pixies-related tracks, as many cds as you like, don't post your tracklisting until everyone has received your disc (but include one in the package) - i think thats it!

I wish a fellow american member had done a good Country/Americana CD. Neitherless, everything looks alright, I'm just a bit afraid of Denis's techno mix... Hope he wont burn "Techno hits 1996"

yeah, an americana disc would be good - i just don't have enough to make one that would do the genre justice - i do have some, but i have my artists that i like and thats pretty much it, not a broad spectrum of stuff

Now you're all filling me with pre-cd swap nerves - what if I don't do my genre justice?

i'm sure you'll do just fine. the reason i picked instrumentals was because i could really be creative and pick all different things - a little jazz, a little rock - i apologize in advance if there is too much marimba on my mix - i tend to like percussive stuff

The marimba has to be one of the best instruments ever. The more marimba the better, I say.

Nah, it's gonna be cool. I have no idea of what I'm gonna put on it but I'll find out. Oh, and I guess everyone's doing "compilations" instead of mixes, right? A techno mix would be better than a compilation but I don't have the software/skills/time to do one.

I started my mix today.
Don't think I could stand 79:24 of high-frequency, white-noise industrial anymore.
-
I'd like to go from a genre to a theme.
Guess the theme would be sleep. What I think the soundtrack to, um, sleep might be.

I'm getting a bit crazy looking for some interesting portuguese music, I hope I can find a lot that will interest you, it's not a easy job, but someone's got to do it.

Nicole! Would it be possible to swap? We've got the decorators in and everythings kind of inaccessible at the moment, so I'm not sure I could be ready in time. Your's sounds like it might be OK for 7th Feb?

Gladly.
Was going to suggest it in anycase to stop my endless fretting over whether to change the last track or not.
I'm going to need some addresses though.
