Too wate monkey. The Floopster and I have a secret Sasquatch news alert thing going on via email. It's all business though. No mucking around. We take our Sasquatch news very seriously. As should everybody.

Easy Monkey. Easy... Look what happened to the last poor guy that used words like that around me.
I was forced to use an old indian Sasquatch curse on him.

Watched I Robot last night. I was prepared for utter awfullness, so was pleasantly suprised. It was ok. Great special effects/CGI. The thing that bothers me about a movie so effects-centric is the flat acting. I'd rather have no real humans I think. It's too hard to be really into acting in a movie with all the men in neon green full body leotards jumping around. Or just a big green screen and nothing else.

Oh, and now I know what those guys in full body neon green leotards were doing rollerblading down State Street in Chicago a couple years ago. You never know when your casual questions about the universe will be answered.

it's hard to find good pictures of her. i don't even think the one above is a good pictue of her.

i mainly love her for PRINCESS AND THE WARRIOR. she is so beautiful in that film. the whole time during that film i literally wanted to jump into the screen and kiss her.

Brian, I really love the Office. One weekend a few months ago I watched the entire series, and then it just so happened that the Christmas special was on BBC America. Great great show, although it does have that whole "hard to watch thing" that I love. I can compare to Curb Your Enthusiasm because of that, which I also adore.

Tonight I watched LA Confidential, which I was a bit unahppy with, then Slow Century, the Pavement DVD, which was a lot of fun. Stephen Malkmus looked really angry by the end though, as if he was fed up with Pavement by '99.

Is that the one where they are vampires? Bill Paxton is also in it, I think. I remember enjoying that when I was younger.

Yeah it's about a travelling band of vampires. It was OK, some nice touches but nothing too fantastic. Easy film to watch late at night.

i watched this German film yesterday called SONGS FROM THE SECOND FLOOR which didn't do it for me, but it was interesting. the whole film consists of little episodes that are all shot in one take.

it reminded me of a film called WHAT TIME IS IT THERE? that does the same thing (only better).. i thought this film was ripping off WHAT TIME IS IT THERE? but realized it came out before..

anyway, strange film.

I still maintain that this thread discriminates against those forum
members who, for whatever reason, cannot watch a movie as frequently
as nightly.

The Last Testament (the making of London Calling) kicked ass! Long live
the only band that matters!

I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank

I watched American Splendor again today. Paul Giamati (or however it is spelled) really impressed me. Now I know I need to go see Sideways.

Although it isn't a movie, I just watched this week's installment of Arrested Development. I'd say as of now it is my favorite current TV show. Sorry to get off topic from the whole film thing.

I watched 'The Thing' again earlier. What a great film that is. I hear they are remaking it. I see they have also remade 'Assault on Precinct 13', and are remaking 'King Kong' (Peter Jackson though so perhaps all is not lost).

They really are running out of ideas aren't they?
