Sure the Off topic forum has changed. I agree with frog, too many strange topics post by the same fifteen persons. Too much off topic. I think the success of a forum is done by staying on topic, I mean, it's not an on-line chat, you should be able to not go to the forum for two days and catch a thread. Now you click on a topic that looks interresting but when you reach message #10 it went on something completly different. At least there's still the Frank Black Forum that keeps it's high quality.

Uh, I didn't exactly mean this. To be honest, even classic, mainstream topics give me headaches sometimes. At least I now know that my understanding of English is far more limited than I supposed :) |

We have been on the same topic for quite some time now. Time to go off topic.
How do people feel about scorpions (please! no posting pix of the band The Scorpions! Resist!). Someone I live with who is under four feet tall is suddenly obsessed with scorpions.
I still believe in the excellent joy of the Frank |

They even creep me out. Although I've picked up wild ones. Shorty sounds like a Triop candidate. |

I read somewhere that, if a nuclear war devastated the Earth, scorpions would be the only creatures to survive. |

Scorpions have existed at least for 200 million years and have survived without changing all the global disasters so far. Most of them don't drink water all their life long. They also can survive 500 days' hunger. The scorpions can also resist a high radiation and are probably the only ones who can survive a nuclear war. - http://www.thinkquest.org/library. |

Hey Frogger (good to see you around more again!), you may want to be aware that that site is a bunch of stuff written by students. No telling what they'll say! I hope you aren't learning anything critical from there.

Thanks Jenny... Happy to see you still count among the most prolific (and interesting) contributors to the forum. You almost make me believe in God :) I've been very busy these past months, and I really miss our cultural electronic correspondence. (Btw, I never thought someone would notice my absence. God bless ya!)

If this were a poll for "funniest person on the board," and I was allowed to vote for myself... well, I probably would... But I think BLT and Floop would be second and third place respectively.
So, Dave isn't posting anymore? Sheesh, how long have I been innactive that I didn't even know that?

Im not really enjoying the forum any more. I joined just over a year ago i think. Not very long, seems a life time though.
I made some good friends, met some brilliant people, and went through a lot on here.
IN the past few months, I have totally lost interest. Partly due to memories, particularly this month, partly due to an influx of newer posters that i dont really care for. Tried to ignore, but its quite impossible, and so i am not posting with the regularity that i sued to.
Alot of the threads dont have the same feel to them that they did...im not sayign that theyre arent any interesting threads, because i could just go and make one if i felt that was the problem. But its the actual feel of the thread, and the direction it takes. (im not going on about the off topic ting here)
I dont know. just not for me any more. I guess the reasons i used to post and look forward to reading certain peoples post have changed, And now i almost dread it! ridiculous.

If I'm gonna be honest Mel, I think you have changed, and that's fair enough. I'm just not sure this place has changed as much as you think, it just takes a while to get back into it when you leave.

Well thats exactly what I said, I have changed, the people have changed. I have never left. Im always reading it, just nothing spurs me to reply as much as it had before.Infact, i dont read that much of it. I just drop on by every now again.
How have I changed? I know i have personally changed, but i didnt feel that that showed itself in the forum, apart from the fact i dont post much anymore.

I think Billy Joel captured how I feel about the Frank Black Forum:
Don't go changing, to try and please me You never let me down before Don't imagine you're too familiar And I don't see you anymore
I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble We never could have come this far I took the good times, I'll take the bad times I'll take you just the way you are
Don't go trying some new fashion Don't change the color of your hair You always have my unspoken passion Although I might not seem to care
I don't want clever conversation I never want to work that hard I just want someone that I can talk to I want you just the way you are.
I need to know that you will always be The same old someone that I knew What will it take till you believe in me The way that I believe in you.
I said I love you and that's forever And this I promise from the heart I could not love you any better I love you just the way you are.
