Let me join an internet forum to chat with complete strangers about a common interest but then get upset if anyone else wants to participate besides me, and the people that were on here when I joined.
"Who does this newbie think they are posting so much? They haven't wasted as much of their life in front of a glaring computer screen as I have. Hmmf! How dare they start a topic? I'm not going to post in there. I'm not even going to see what it's about. These newbies need to learn their place. You can't just come along, join a forum, and actually start participating in the discussions. You have to work your way up the ladder of pathetic internet geekdom".

I think the biggest change in the forum is the loss of that n/a person, I have read their posts and looked at the wonderful threads they have started and I gather they were the wittiest and cleverst and coolest person ever, how I wish I could have been around in the days of the great n/a
