I don't know, strange actually. I would hardly demote my post count. Especially with Homer having surpassed me recently. :)

Maybe this is an answer:
Sometimes when my Fred Flintstone Mac, as Dayanara
correctly calls it, slows down and it takes forever to
open a page, I get a message about "time expiring"
and the forum won't include any of my subsequent posts,
unless I quit and restart Explorer.

More likely the answer might be that when you post at warp speed, there are dillusionary effects. For example, if you were to actually be able to observe something coming at you at the speed of light, it would appear to be approaching you backwards. So, applying that to some of these people who post at extraordinary totals, one can only assume that their totals might actually be greater than what they appear to be.

I really don't see how changing a name is going to affect anonymity in the long run. Maybe for a short time - while everyone's trying to figure out who all of the "new" people are. But once it's figured out it won't matter. If I changed my name to "BillyBobJoe" and people figured out...I'll still be known as the person who was TheCroutonFuton. It will be like "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince".
Edit: Plus, this whole thing just draws more attention, does it not?
