so i went to brit night again at this club/bar that i quite enjoy. anyways, so they pretty much alternate between DJ and band. the band is called Radio One and they aren't that good, they played stone temple pilots, ramones, coldplay, led zeppelin, u2, you get my point. i was hoping to catch DJ playing some cool stuff. (actually the band played paint it black and mixed in the "King of the Hill" theme, that was cool, and they ended with a Kula shaker song so i can't be all choked) the band sounded best singing radiohead songs by the way....anyways, the DJ started out strong playing Franz, Libertines, Killers, Duran Duran, Blur, and then later on did a cool beat mix of "this fire, firestarter and brimful of asha" (i told hin it would have worked better with blue monday instead of firestarter) so it wasn't all bad.
ok, so at one point the DJ played Fatboy Slim's "praise you" and i swear no less than 3 people started acting out the video on the dance floor! one guy danced the same after that but the other two people, come on! i wanted to smash their pretend ghetto blasters to pieces! it was ridiculous, do you think we never saw the frickin' video? you look like a loser! other people noticed too, grrrrrr....
