You know I do think you're still cute in spite of your accounts to to the contrary. Stow that shit, sis.
Kathryn, yeah - it is a CD that i found at a thrift store.
It is a CD someone burnt for themselves i guess. It is labelled "morrissey MP3" and really - it has about 150 Morrissey and Smiths MP3s on it.
I am seriously trying to get my hands on as much new (to me) music as i can...pretty sure I'm not a Morrissey or Smiths fan tho...his vocal delivery throws me off...too flamboyant, dramatic, feminine sounding. Robert Smith is about as far as I can stand to go in that arena.
In any case - what ever you have to time to do - X and Concrete Blonde are good...throw a copy of Bloodletting in there - i lost mine years ago...but some of the early stuff would be great...but other stuff too...I actually own no Frank Black - maybe some of his stuff too? Just whatever but as much as you can stand to do. Send me an address and I'll send you this CD and some blanks to make copies onto.
I know you and I have had our less-than friendly times here on the forum - my fault of course. I'm usually posting from work where I'm usually extremely angry and frustrated.
I'm home now.

ok, i couldn't resist. thought i'd stop in and see if there was any exciting gossip.
i'll give my full report when i get back to the US but i am alive and having a great time. i actually managed to squeeze in some "London culture" too.. saw the Design Museum (which had a VAughn Oliver Bossonova LP under glass, along with Rolling Stones, Beatles, etc etc.. ). also went to the Tate Modern.
despite being excellent places to sample some culture and reflect on the deeper meanings of existence, museums are a great place to scope out girls. especially foreign girls. [note to self: start going to museums more]
anyway, it was fun meeting everybody. Rita's family is amazing. i've never seen more well behaved polite kids in my life. and i have to say, Rita's husband is a lucky man. and a very nice guy. i'm embarassed that i didn't bring any presents (thanks again for the beautiful picture frame and good luck cat)
it was great hanging out with Tre. she's as witty as you'd expect, and kept cracking me up. especially with the funny way she talks. these Brits talk funny. her roommate was very cool too and they even bought me indian food, which is still the best Indian i've had here yet. wish i could remember the name of it .
it was a great way to start off my London vacation getting to hang out with some actual funny-talking Englanders. quite a treat.
talk to you guys later.. hopefully i'll survive this evening and make it back to the US

I'm glad to know that Tony is still alive and having a great time, because with all that drinking...you never know what can happen!
And I'm happy too for what he says about me and my family.

Sorry Kathryn, but Tony talking was very funny too, but maybe it's just me...Tre also heard me talking portuguese and she said it was funny!
