Thinking about getting the new Tom Waits one, is it worth it? I thought Blood Money he started to sound a little tired.

Okay Marc Ribot is on it and Les Claypool does three songs, that´s all I need to read so I´m gonna go get it. Thank you HPM, and good to have you back.

Only heard it once(a friend is a big Waits fan)but it really caught my ear. Les Claypool plays bass on a couple of tracks. I woulda loved to have got a ticket to the London gig-I wish he did'nt hate touring so much, it'd be great to see him live. |

Yes, get it! and Hurry! It's completely different from Blood Money, a complete reinvention for Mr. Waits.

Just got up here today, staying for five days or so, going to eat a lot and then going to run it all off doing silly things in public in Barcelona for New Years' Eve.

Can I ask you a last thing? Weren't you playing at Ramblas the Primavera Sound day with a little homemade amp-in-a-bag. "Everybody Hurts" and stuff?
I can't remember the face of that guy, but he probably has your age or similar.

It is. But, you know, I have taken my most beloved to her home an hour ago and I'm too excited to get asleep. Excited in the non-sexual way... Excited in both ways, to be honest.

I didn't come up till the end of June. I was suppposed to go see PJ Harvey at Primavera but thought it'd be too depressing to go to Bcn while the Pixies were there and not see them. Never played Everbody Hurts either. Beautiful song, but its funk content is a little low.

My house was invaded for two solid weeks by a horde of gitanos who spent the time playing flamenco at earbleeding volume, snorting cocaine off my books and trying to alternately buy and steal my stereo. I knew I only had a month or so left to live in the Land Where No-One Pronounces An S and going up for a few days was just too much of a tease.
