I've been reading that six or seven shows will be on the DVD.
I am just trying to see what shows were recorded.
I know the Fineline and the Last two NYC shows were taped cuz I was there.
Just wondering what other ones were taped.

| i hope to hope to hope to hope that they use the early 12/18 show. when the cameraman filming from the floor turned the camera on the crowd it was pointed almost DIRECTLY at me. if i was on a pixies dvd.... i dont know what id do..... oh god... must not think about it... dont wanna get my hopes up!!! |

mammynus that would be so cool. would you tell us all so we know what you look like?
I guess that brings up the other question. I wonder if the DVD will have parts of each show or one or two full-length shows. Who knows? |

| The camera crew were definitely at both Vancouver shows during the warm up tour, and then again in Hull (Kelley Deal was filming the show) and the late show in NYC. |

youre pretty much guaranteed a spot on the dvd because of your sit-down with charles right? i was watching the online video and they asked you guys if you would mind being on a pixies dvd. now THATS cool! you were right next to him! |

10 pixies dvd's in my collection would suit me fine
but if they captured so many shows they could
select some songs from every show
it works on cd's but on video?
I don't know
I am for 2 full lengths

| ive seen it happen on video.... its hilarious when they use footage from different nights in the same song. youll see a shot of the singer, theyll cut to the guitarist... and when they go back to the singer... hes wearing completely different clothes. |

I am not sure if I will be on the DVD... I used to be an editor and know how alot can change between the raw footage stage vs. a completely editied product. but if it does work out. wow. it would be cool. :) |

I think they taped either or both of the Montreal shows. Can't say for sure, I was having an out-of-body experience, you know how that goes at a show.

They didn't say there would be 6 or 7 shows on the DVD, they said they had footage of 6 or 7 full shows. I bet they'll pick one or two out of the batch, maybe some highlights from others.
I know Kelley had been filming backstage stuff because the band is so comfortable having her around, but I can't imagine why they'd have her filming the live gigs instead of the pro's. Maybe she was filming it for personal reasons?

| From talking to Pixies people, I don't think it's going to be one or two specific concerts, I think it's going to be a representation of the best performances throughout the tour, spliced together to form one concert-length performance. They were filming from the very first show at Fine Line in April, all the way until the last show in NYC, including all the stops in Iceland, Europe, and Japan, so thats a LOT of performances! |

Cool that will be very nice to see!!!! It's always to cool to see a best of. It will be cool to see clips of some of the shows I've been too and some that I haven't seen! |

i wonder how many people would purchase multiple show DVDs the way they purchase CDs - it can't cost all that much more to make DVDs - it would just take more time to edit, etc, so i'd say they'd charge around $35 for a DVD - i'd probably buy one

Hey first of all i feel fucking awsome to even have seen them. But 50 foot wave really kicked ass theyre bass literally knocked my hat off and kristen looked great and screamed like a mother
