a honey bee (since I left it off my apple) - it'd be small - like a piece of jewellery. So far too many people have objected to the idea though. Got to find a way to convince my boss, best friend and husband.
Tattoo artist thinks it 's a genius design (of course he would) as do a couple of other people (but they're all v.v. heavily tattooed)
I thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel, but it was
just some b*stard with a torch, bringing me more work. |

aaaah convincing other people, the guy I was living with at the time objected most vocally to me having my tummy-button-piercing, he was quite rude about it so I got in a guy I worked with to come over to the house and pierce it for me. The ex walked in as I was lying on my bed doing up my trousers and the guy who pierced me was taking off his rubber gloves.
The look on the exes face was worth all of it.

haha! Can imagine his delight.
I can appreciate their concern though - it is something that is permanent - unlike a piercing - plus it will always be on display - hiding tattooed hands doesn't work unless you plan on wearing gloves for the rest of your life. Definitely getting another one on my hip though. I think part of the problem is that the guy who did mine just turned the entire experience into a slice of heaven. The pain, followed by the blowing, dabbing away the blood with those big big hands - hmmmmmm - I'm beginning to suspect I may enjoy the process too much.

The guy I go to is huge - gentle - such incredible control and damn fine taste in music. It'd be sooo easy to get into soooo much trouble there.

I was considering getting a tattoo on my wrist too, or just behinnmy thumb, on the back. I was going to have the scorpio sign - M with a little devil tail. But i got the same response from people, and i am so everchanging, i guess it would be a bad idea to have it there. Im going to get it on the nape of my neck instead - only very small though. Bit concerned about having my first tattoo on somewhere so bony, but ah well.
Now I do as I please and lie through my teeth. Someone might get hurt but it won't be me. I should probably feel cheap but I just feel free and a little bit empty. No it isn't so hard to get close to me. There will be no arguments. We will always agree. And I will try and be kind when I ask you to leave. We will both take it easy. But if you stay too long inside my memory, I will trap you in a song tied to a melody and I will keep you there so you can't bother me. |

I've always kinda had an oral fixation so I did want to get a tongue ring at one time but it's just too much hassle. I'll just stick to smoking.
I have my nose pierced but I wasn't about to pay some guy $60 dollars to do it. So I just grabbed a sewing needle and the rest is history. It was kinda funny at the time I did it because the only earing in the house was a cross, which didn't fit well unless I turned it upside down. Needless to say, the teachers at my Catholic school didn't much like that. And those horns that were emerging from my skull bothered them as well.

i personally hate piercings since i find them pretty antiaesthetic.
and to answer floop's question it happened to me once and i didn't notice a significant difference tho' i paid particular attention due to the fellatio related legend. what i can say is that it made kissing annoying with that metallic thing bouncing against my teeth.

thankd for the input whore. i've always felt that that was kind of an urban myth. the only thing people say is that it "enhances stimulation".. which is kind of vague. again, i don't think a small piece of metal is going to do much for me.

| Yeah, but I think carolynanna is saying there might be an interaction effect. A skilled fellator can make that metal ball dance (thus making the piercing a good thing), while the amateur is clunky (making the piercing a bad thing). Speaking theoretically. |
