A Selection of some scientific Qur'anic Verses :
A. - On Human Embryological and Fetal Development
[ 23 : 12-16 ] Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); Then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; Then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then we made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then we developed out of it another creature. So blessed be Allah, the best to create! After that, at length ye will die; Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up.
B- [ 22 : 73 ] O men! Here is a parable set forth! listen to it! Those on whom, besides Allah ( God ) , ye call, cannot create (even) a fly, if they all met together for the purpose! and if the fly should snatch away anything from them, they would have no power to release it from the fly. Feeble are those who petition and those whom they petition!
C- On the Water Cycle
[30:48-50] It is Allah Who sends the Winds, and they raise the Clouds: then does He spread them in the sky as He wills, and break them into fragments, until thou seest rain-drops issue from the midst thereof: then when He has made them reach such of his servants as He wills behold, they do rejoice!-
D- On day and night :
36. Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge.
37. And a Sign for them is the Night: We withdraw therefrom the Day, and behold they are plunged in darkness;
38. And the sun runs his course for a period determined for him: that is the decree of (Him), the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing.
39. And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk.
40. It is not permitted to the Sun to catch up the Moon, nor can the Night outstrip the Day: Each (just) swims along in (its own) orbit (according to Law).
E- 59. Say: Praise be to Allah, and Peace on his servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better?- Allah or the false gods they associate (with Him)?
60. Or, Who has created the heavens and the earth, and Who sends you down rain from the sky? Yea, with it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty of delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth of the trees in them. (Can there be another) god besides Allah. Nay, they are a people who swerve from justice.
61. Or, Who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its midst; set thereon mountains immovable; and made a separating bar between the two bodies of flowing water? (can there be another) god besides Allah. Nay, most of them know not.
62. Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah. Little it is that ye heed!
63. Or, Who guides you through the depths of darkness on land and sea, and Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy? (Can there be another) god besides Allah.- High is Allah above what they associate with Him!
64. Or, Who originates creation, then repeats it, and who gives you sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah. Say, "Bring forth your argument, if ye are telling the truth!"
65. Say: None in the heavens or on earth, except Allah, knows what is hidden: nor can they perceive when they shall be raised up (for Judgment).
66. Still less can their knowledge comprehend the Hereafter: Nay, they are in doubt and uncertainty thereanent; nay, they are blind thereunto!
67. The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)?
68. "It is true we were promised this,- we and our fathers before (us): these are nothing but tales of the ancients."
69. Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)."

Thats a large statement to make, considering the overwhelming evidence of the exact opposite. To prove this point, perhaps you could answer some of the contradictions on the site which i posted a link to? This would be very interesting and much appreiciated.
I am not saying that having contradictions is a bad thing, every religion has them - as I mentioned previously - and this is what makes it such a controversial subject - because we are an incredibly suspicious society which wants hard evidence before something is considered fact.
I completely understand the need and want many people have for belonging to a religion, believing in something like that, something which sets their rules and boundaries for them, but for me, (and i think for quite a few people on this forum from what ive heard) its not something i sought after, nor want in my life.
However, i do feel it is important to be aware and know about other cultures and beliefs, and is something which has fascinated me for years. Ive looked fairly extensively in to many religions, before coming to the decision that it is something i do not want to be part of.
Also, mefa do you realise this is a forum for musician Frank Black?
Now I do as I please and lie through my teeth. Someone might get hurt but it won't be me. I should probably feel cheap but I just feel free and a little bit empty. No it isn't so hard to get close to me. There will be no arguments. We will always agree. And I will try and be kind when I ask you to leave. We will both take it easy. But if you stay too long inside my memory, I will trap you in a song tied to a melody and I will keep you there so you can't bother me. |

Secondly , I am very very sure that no contradictions in Qur'an .
Allah ( God ) mentions in the second chapter of His last Book to all mankind this challenge :
[ 2 : 2 ] This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.
[ 4 : 82 ] Do they not consider the Qur'an (with care)? Had it been from other Than Allah, they would surely have found therein Much discrepancy.
Thirdly , with my respect If your human mind think that there are some contradictions you can mention them but please one by one not a whole site . I will try to help you to correct your misunderstanding Or you can send to :
