I haven't bought any CD's lately, but my girlfriend recently bought "Making Singles Drinking Doubles," a collection of single tracks by Bloodshot Records artists.

Oldies bought yesterday:
- Big Audio Dynamite - This Is B.A.D. (thanks Frog!)
- New Order - Singles: the new best of, just to have something by NO on my shelves.

And I didn't buy the Pixies DVD cause that was already too much 80's stuff in my bag.

The last David Byrne album, Grown Backwards and a Django Reinhardt-Stephane Grapelli with Sheik of Araby on it, which I´ve always wanted to hear.

Not new, but rediscovered my Lovage cd "Music to Make Love to your Old Lady By". That shit is hysterical. And Desert Sessions 9&10 is a new burn off of a friend. PJ does some chilling vocals on this one, a really great record all the way around.

Got some girl power today, L7 - Bricks Are Heavy and The Knife - Deep Cuts. Wanted to get some Talking Heads and The Knitters, but the record store that had them cheap was closed by the time I got into town. Oh, and I got the Pixies Live DVD, not a cd, but totally awsome none the less!

I thought I should swot up on the Breeders (as I'm going to see them), so I bought Pod, it was delivered today. I also bought Throwing Muses - Limbo, as I'm also going to see Kristin do a set of Muses songs. I have a lot of ground to cover before I'll know every one she does...
Also, the best of Percy Sledge.

Unusual, bit twee in parts like Belle & Sebastian (who I don't really like), very interesting though and some cracking songs on there. I got it for £3 so it was definitely worth the money.

I have just bought this and my god it is good. Really in love with this band right now.

Strangely, I have all the Sugar records (including EPs, b-sides comp and boots) but none of Bob's solo stuff. And I now have half of the HD albums. I'm enjoying Flip Your Wig immensely, Candy Apple Grey not as much but I haven't heard it all yet.
