I know exactly what you mean, Surfer.

I wish that worked for me when I used to 9 to 5. It just makes me *less* short. I'm almost average height in 4" heels. I tell you what, in the middle of winter working at the Sears Tower in Chicago, they set up big metal posts with chains outside the building so you could pull yourself down the sidewalk and into the building, against the wind, along the ice. Those 4" heeled boots were a nightmare.

I'm probably about 5 6, so in heels I'm considered tall (in the UK at least - most of my family are over 6 ft and consider me to be the runt) - there's just something quite satisfying to tower over a shorter man who's already shitting himself over the fact that he's going to have to ask you to redo/amend a piece of work.

Blue jeans, big ol' trainers and a knock-off SMYT tour T-shirt.

There's likely to be women when I'm out tonight, and this T-shirt is the acid test.

Day off = jeans and 2 T-shirts (cold house), yay!

Workplace dresscode implemented this week - we now have to donate to charity if we want to wear jeans on Fridays, where last week it was a given that we wear jeans on Fridays. NOBODY sees us aside from co-workers unless we arrange client meetings in advance. Does anybody else suffer from this kind of tyranny?

I'm wearing my "CVB Revolutionary Manifesto 2004" T-shirt, my TMBG Unlimited fleece, and black pants and socks. I was wearing a suit earlier today.

Massive hangover, glow in the dark skull and crossbone panties and a Pixies t shirt.

I must try to remind myself that I cannot drink like a man.

And no glow in the dark underwear? I suspect it might be an English thing. Surfer Rosa couldn't have bought those panties around these parts of the world.

Black Morrissey T-shirt, black capris, black nail polish (toe nails only), wedding ring, engagement ring, pearl earrings, a lot of moisturizer, a little brown eyeliner, a little perfume, a frown and possibly a scowl.

My jacket's gonna be cut and slim and checked,
Maybe a touch of seersucker, with an open neck.
I ride a G.S. scooter with my hair cut neat,
Wear my wartime coat in the wind and sleet.

emergency clothes situation: another pair of grey very wide legged trousers which are a touch shredded at the bottom due to most shops not making trousers for midgets with hips, brown trainers, a blue on blue polka dot off the shoulder long sleeved T shirt and a blue on blue stripey scarf (cold so very cold) oh, and the specs of course...

Today I've got my Mastodon Leviathan t on over white v. light long sleeve t, large turquoise cuff, black boots, wide leg grey trousers about 2 sizes too big for me which means that I'm flashing my knickers rather a lot today.

Now coupled with tissues - I've got a very alluring blood nose which always rounds off an outfit beautifully.

I'm not planning on leaving the house today, it's cold out there, I didn't want to get out of bed.

Not entirely sure. And there's nothing like a blood nose on a Monday to make everyone think you have truly gone off the rails.
