I see quite a few of those bracelets.
Wondered what they were about.

Right now:
Red tee shirt from an elementary school in Ohio. (Wife did the logo.)
Khaki slacks. Blue boxers. Never wear socks. Old pair of topsiders.

Today, my own clothes: red skirt suit, pale blue shirt, all black everything else including high heels. I had a client meeting this morning and I was best-dressed in the room. Yay me. Would rather be in jeans and T. Oops, ex-boyfriend's watch made it onto my arm today...
This is very good therapy. I thank Kathryn again. Floop has an email. |

Well, I'm trying to fit in as a west coaster, so I'm wearing what every Californian seems to wear once it drops below 66 degrees.

Damn - am I going to need one of those for my holiday?
I'm wearing brown cords, 3 t's - 1 white long sleeve with 2 v. lightweight pale blue, a black hoody, denim jacket and my rather tatty but supremely comfy gig boots. Turquoise earring and a studded silver cuff.
I am fucking cold. Why do I live in the North of England?

Well, if you WERE naked, you'd probably get a lot more inquiries. Mostly along the lines of "Hey, how come you're naked?", though.
Anyway, I'm wearing a gold-brown shirt, dark brown corduroy pants, black socks, and black moccasins. And underwear, if that counts.

I used to wear a bird leg on a string around my neck.
A friend of mine used to wear a cow's leg bone on his neck, so that trumps mine I think.
Right now I'm wearing people clothes. To fool the people. |

Brown trousers, a green cord knee length skirt, a black vest top with a stripey low cut top that sorta black and beige type colour i guess, It has little flowers on it, sparingly. God,t hat sounds awful, much better than it sounds though, no good at describing. Have to wear the top under neath as its cold, and low cut. Got my favourite warm black cardigany type thing on too, and black wrangler boots. Not flat, not heeled, just right, they are great, and black earing, and, erm, a scarf thing in my hair...oh, and a brown cord jacket with badges on.

Black knee length skirt, white shirt with an eighties matchbox t-shirt over it, black stockings, high heel mary janes the colour of dried blood. And earrings that look like thorns/horns

High heel Mary Janes?! I am wearing a pair right now, Surfer!
I am wearing black ones and I do have that same color red you're wearing.
Actually, I only have three kinds of shoes: black knee-high boots (four *identical* pairs); four *identical* pairs of black MJs and the red pair; and way too many sneakers for running.

They are like good girl shoes - old skool school shoes. This is so not making any sense.

They are just the cutest shoes, Cheesey! They are cute cute cute. I might go look for a photo to post but basically they are the rockingest thing about being female today. They are little-girl shoes but you can get them in adult sizes and with chunky heels. They show just the right amount of foot cleavage. You see 'em all the time, I bet.

You are making perfect sense. They are old school school shoes but on grown-up girls they look like "good school girls gone wrong" and that's good.

Gotcha. It all makes sense now.
I'll tell you what I like, while we're on the subject of girls shoes (how the hell that happened...) - I don't know the right word for em. They're almost like ballet shoes, again a bit little-girly, but much less clunky. I wouldn't know where to look for a picture, sorry.

Way to go, Cheesy, talking about girl shoes. That'll always get you points with the ladies.
Um I think that's a variation of the beloved and aforementioned Mary Janes, is it not? Post a pic!
Back on topic: black nailpolish (toenails only), black tailored pants, black longsleeved T, brown eyeliner (subtle), moisturizer (excessive), pearl earrings, wedding and engagement rings.

White towelling dressing gown (now complete with red wine stain on cuff), macadamia nut body oil, ugg boots and a cat that is trying to drape itself over my shoulder. Accessorised with glass of fine cooking wine.

I've found a gorgeous one - with lavender. Only problem is it makes me want more tattoos. Everytime I apply it the colours just zing on my existing one.
And it's not too girly - men can do the body oil too.
In fact it's really really good when they do the body oil.

I never got into the Ugg boot. Not kick-ass enough for me. But they're very popular, so what do I know.

Hippy health food shops usually stock it.
I save the Ugg boot thing for around the house. I prefer a bit of height outside - it helps with the crazy intimidation tactics dealing with the boys at work.

I like this thread. Surfer...nice. "Spill the wine...take that pearl..."
I'm waiting for the "A thin film of sweat" post.
I personally am wearing boring office guy stuff...well mebbe not. Teal/gray button up cordouroy shirt, old black poly dress pants. Shoes - I'm wearing shoes too - old Rockports... and some socks. Boxers - always boxers - white with some kind of wierd reddish diamond pattern on em. Some hair - I'm a bit hirsut. If I don't cut it, I'll have LBF on the run soon in the beard dept. |
