This is really just a precursor to see who everybody picks in the "B", but what they hey. I only own albums by Afghans Whigs, Asian Dub Foundation, Adorable and a few records by Agnostic Front. My vote will be for the Afghans but I think perhaps Adam Ant, Ash, The Animals or Aerosmith will win. When voting please take into account the music, the popularity, and the influence both in pop culture and your own life.

A girl I was living with few years ago alphabetised my cds once and I had to mess them up again when she left the room.

But whenever, as scholars sometimes do, I turned my back on books, declaring them to be the graveyards of the language, and sought contact with the simple folk, I encountered the little cannibals who lived in our building, and after brief association with them, felt very glad to get back to my reading in one piece.

What about ... And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead? They're usually filed under "T" in stores, but they go with the "A's" in my collection. Or should that be "..."?
Anyway, I shall vote for AC/DC, for the sake of good old times.

I can't really comment on their popularity or influence but I use to 'chill' alot to Athletes' album 'Vehicles & Animals'. Some nice songs and I was getting to know my now grrlfriend. It's one of those, a soundtrack to a happy and exciting time in my life. |

This is hard, but I would choose António Carlos Jobim!

Let's get this straight: LAVIGNE, Avril starts with "L" so don't worry Mun Chien, she'll get her chance. And "JOBIM" is "J" -- although, of course, he doesn't stand a chance in that category as he's standing against the mighty JEDI ROLLERS ;)
And yes, I make the rules today.
Nobody mentioned Tori Amos yet.

"JOBIM" is "J", but "ANTÓNIO" it´s sure an "A"! Isn´t it?

When do we pit the letters against each other? For my money it's letter B to whup letter A, I mean A has those two nimble feet and a pointy head but B can just roll over and squash him with those two giant sideways asscheeks.

I'm not ashamed to say I like the early Abba albums before they got too sappy. Plus Agnetha was HOT! |
