Why was this song dropped back to B Side (at least this is my understanding of where it ended up)? It has that 60s Animals type quality with the speedy electric organ sound and the crunchy guitar. Was it ever planned to put it on the album that shares its name or was that a reusing of the title?

It sounded to me more like something off of Pistolero (great album). It might have sounded a little different from the rest of what's on the Show Me Your Tears album, but I don't know it would've kicked to put it as the last track. Lots of quieter songs then juice it at the end to really make a finale.

i agee about don't clip your wings. i heard the live solo acoustic version first and fell in love with the song. really fun to play on guitar too. but i was a little let down when i heard the studio version. i thought the studio version was too choppy for the lyrical content or something. still a great song but not as good as that live version.
SMYT is not the best song from that session but i still like it.
