Uh...i don't think it's appropriate to post tabs, etc, until the album is released.

Do you think it's OK to post lyrics though? I tried to figure them out myself but I really suck at it. This is an example of what I can come out with:
MY LIFE IS IN STORAGE
I had a castle I had no hassles Now *** *** Just when *** There you can ***
My life is in storage My life is in storage
Not really worth the effort, huh?

I have the lyrics on my computer and all the tabs I scribble down on notepads. But due to lack of time, I have not put them on the computer w/the lyrics yet, plus since Dave doesn't want them posted here, I'll refrain. Sorry everyone. |

I guess if you tab them for yourself and all to practice that's fine but publishing tabs for songs that haven't even come out yet is a little soon it seems. If whoever is in charge or owns these tracks (probably the artists in this case) say go ahead early that's cool but maybe let the songs come officially before publishing stuff. Nothing wrong with playing it at home and messing around with it though if you happen to have the tracks.

to any moderator, feel free to delete this if it's doing wrong. i totally understand this tab doesn't even do justice to the song, and it's one of the easier ones to have worked out, so i'm hoping people who can play, and have hc, already know this. i don't think there's been a definitive answer to o9's question.
A.I.M.H
intro:
| Am | G | F |
verse:
| C | Am | C | A# | F | G | C | G | F | G | x2
chorus 1:
| C | F | G | Am | C | F | G | C |G | x2
| F | G | Am | G | F |
| C | Am | Dm | G |
chorus 2:
| C | F | G | Am | C | F | G | C |G | x2
| F | G | Am | G | F |
| C | Am | Dm | G |
verse 2:
| C | Am | C | A# | F | G | C | G | F | G | x3
end:
| Am | G | F | C |
(the last 'g' in the chorus before "atom in my heart.." sounds like it rises from 'aminor' to a 'b' chord instead of falling to 'g') (there's an 'e' note in the intro just after the 'f' that leads into the verse) (some barre chords, some open ones. frank always catches me out so you decide) |

I'm gonna say go ahead and write about them in here, but we won't be officially posting anything till it's released and Derek has had his way with them.

i was thinking about whether or not to post for a while. it's a mighty rough version of the song, and i think if frank saw it, he would laugh his head off.

Guidzie good man,
about I burn today, i think it's
intro : G verse : C Am G C C Am G C C Am F Am (rather than C) etc....
I could be wrong, I'm often wrong, but the Am just sounds better. And i'd play A7 instead of A for the shrimp.
What do you think ?

Here are the lyics to "My Life Is In Storage"...I've probably listened to this song 800 in the last week, so it came pretty easily.
__________________________________________________
I had a castle, I had no hassles Now tears are tassels, you're sure to know it Just when you blow it, then you can stow it
My life is in storage My life is in storage
Come take a voyage to personal storage And we will forage, leashes for my hounds My tools for my grounds, speakers for my sounds
My life is in storage My life is in storage
Here are the pictures of permanant fixtures Now they're just pictures lying in this stack Bakin' in this shack of things I can't get back
My life is in storage My life is in storage
What life has become, stored here for a sum I hauled it, I feel dumb, got my lock and key Paid him in his fee, now I wait and see
My life is in storage My life is in storage
I believe in your perfect face, I believe in your place in the sun Can we leave now this dusty space, can we have a little fun? I was standin' at the podium, though I was a little drunk To the darkened auditorium, I delivered my funk You were standing at the edge of the light, tryin' not to be too impressed I was tryin for the sake of the night, not to be too depressed I called you on the telephone, from a hotel in Beverly Hills And, though, I was scared to the bone, you were givin' me thrills I believe in your perfect face, I believe in you place in the sun Can we leave now this dusty space, can we have a little fun? _________________________________________________________________ |
