My similar, but not quite as impressive experience, occurred whan a bird flew in front of my car one day. There was no thump, and I figured it had timed the flight just right. A few days later I happened to look at the front of the car, only to find two little birdie legs sticking out of the radiator grill. :( |

Na, I think it was a sparrow. Couldn't help but think of the dubious people who drive around with cow horns on the bonnet.
I did hit a deer once, it just walked in front of me. Had a few near misses too. |

Its not just British deers people, Its HERTFORDSHIRE deers! No kidding, I used to live there, those deers would not run away from you like other deers, no, not them, they would charge towards you! flippin terrifying.
Teaches us for breaking in to private property I guess. Maybe they were trained to do that.
