No, I think Stella's four. She should be having Mr. Baby any day now.
We almost named Zelda Opal, but it was vetoed by my husband's family b/c my father-in-law apparently had a cow named Opal as a child. They were much more disturbed, however, when I named their grandchild Zelda Mars instead. Mwahhahahaaaaa!

Rainbow, really? That's cool.
Trippy thing is that somebody always dies when I'm pregnant (and can't find anything proper to wear to the funeral cuz I'm so big), and my kids ended up getting those names for middle names. Its morbid, but it always seems to happen. |

My daughter's name is Sasha, and someone once told me that sounded like a pet's name. Needless to say I was pretty offended about that, considering my wife wanted me to pick the name, so it was my idea. I like the name, tho, it's not in that common usage but it's still not totally out there.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Oh you! Thanks. She's a martian battle maiden all the way. The family kind of freaked out at first but now they love it. Bob's 95 year-old grandpa insists on calling her by her full name at every opportunity. Still not exactly sure where Mars came from--crazy pregnancy hormones? The Mars missions that NASA was doing in 1998? An attempt to alienate the in-laws? Just plain sounded good? Take your pick.

If your inspiration was the Mars mission from '98, it could've been worse. You could have called her Zelda Sojourner. Which actually isn't a bad last name, though we don't generally give last names in this culture (dang nab it). Perhaps I'll write a novel, and my main character will be called Opal Sojourner... you and your daughter are officially my muses.

Heh-heh. My sister suggested that I name her Madison b/c she was conceived in Madison, Wisconsin. I said, "Yeah, well she was also conceived on the Epiphany. Should I call her Madison Epiphany? That's a stripper name if I ever heard one!" (Not unlike Bob's original suggestion of Olympia DeLuxe.)

hey all
shitty night last night. i got a phone call that my great aunt died. she was very sick, and she went quickly, but its still a bummer. so i'm trying to juggle my schedule and figure out a way to get home for friday's funeral - we'll see.
