You like? I couldn't decide between that and "FAQ Hostess with the Mostest." I figured I'd better earn my title before I become inundated with school work. |

Hah! My very own symbol--like the Artist formerly known as Prince! (You're going to have to work on an icon for "limp" b/c it still doesn't fully represent the tragicomedy of the situation.) |

I suppose we could just let '@' represent him in his totality. Can't come up (heh-heh) with a good "limp" icon. :~ doesn't quite work, does it? |

Ah, if only I'd snapped a few Polaroids for my scrapbook ! My mother would have been so proud.
Well, Mister Percenter, I must go read about the origins of the mimetic impulse. (I'd rather go back to bed and sleeeep . . .)
Take care of that cold, and Happy Monday.

Yeah, I like The The. The ones I have are Infected and Dusk. I play Dusk quite a bit still (Slow Emotion Replay, Dogs of Lust, Lonely Planet). I'm not sure if I have heard Soul Mining - what is on it Barry?

yes - also got infected which is very nice - i absolutely love heartland and slow train to dawn with neneh cherry, but all in all its a great album. i also heard mind bomb a few years back (which includes johnny marr) and that was also pretty good - but soul mining is amazing and featured jools holland and a few other heads. standout tracks are uncertain smile, ive been waiting for tomorrow all of my life, the title track and the really excellent this is the day. as a whole though its excellent and well recommended. thanks for the good words about dusk - have heard good things and my bro reckons its their best album. i reckon it will be my next album purchase - after justin timblerlake of course :o) cheers fella. hope the celts do themselves justice in the florida sun.

Hey kids!
Missed you all today - was having some sort of weird issue at work and it only seemed to prevent me from getting to frankblack.net (everything else worked fine!) what's up with that?!?! Has someone caught on that I am on continuously all day and they are blocking me out? Hmmm...
Anyway, congrats on the new title Ms. QuizMistress! I love it! Did you enjoy the Simpsons? My favorite quote of the night was "Stupid Flanders! You're a genius!"
Sorry you're still (still!) not feeling well Zan, & now Andy has joined you in the sicky bus. How sad!!
Not much else to report. I have finally developed some stunning ass bruises - I like to believe they would make you all proud. Is there an emoticon for the arse?
No news from that motard, but are we surprised?
More tomorrow - I hope! Miss you all! XX, Em |

Just checking out the HH before bedtime. Glad you're feeling a bit better Zan, and congrats on those ass bruises, Em! If you're going to get all banged up, you may as well have something to show for it.
Don't know if I'll get to check in tomorrow--have to get up at 5:30, drive to LR and take my big sister to get her wisdom teeth removed. (This is my big chance to mess with her head while she's on painkillers! :-)
Going to go watch last night's Simpsons (I was too sleepy to make it past Futurama and King of the Hill--pathetic!)
Nighty-night and have a lovely Tuesday morn. Sarah |
