I like the new one, it's pretty well produced. Nice clean sound. Good onion layers. Axe has some interesting chords and whatnot.. Vocals kinda distract me. good stuff 1c |

It's not working. J Mascis wants to criticize your music, but can't hear it. |

Good song. Well produced.
Let me suggest something in terms of your vocals. Cut out the baritone element or smooth it out. For example, when you sing "and if your lazy...". Try to "sing" that more than talk it. It might be hard, but if you can't do it, change your tone to the type of vocal you use when you sing "...the money's dryin' the ship won't fly..." or whatever you sing there. It's a lot smoother and easier to pull off. |

Pretty cool song..good job.
Really clean recording..i wish i had a room that quiet. Solid guitar playing too.
Maybe bump it up a couple keys to make it easier to sing to...? |

nice and clean as has already been stated - i agree that throwing it up a few keys may sound real nice - a little trick i've been doing on my demos recently is throwing a second acoustic guitar on top with a capo real high up (like 7th or 8th fret) and figuring out the chords in that position - it makes the recoring sound really full and adds some texture. i especially like the guitar line echoing the vocal towards the end - a very nice effort - if my label ever gets off the ground and puts out a comp, you want on? email me sometime -Brian

Funny you mention that Brian, i did exactly that for my Xmas tune. It's a little low in the mix, but it's there.. Does add a nice element, sorta like a mandolin or something.. |

Hey Mike D:
I think this is a compliment, but more than enjoying the actual song (the one with vocals), I was "inspired" to sit down and write. It reminded me of what I like. So, nice job.
