Yep, I'm a geek. I DL'ed it and I love it. I was up way too late last night playing Onslaught and I woke up at 9:00 this morning, thus making me late for work. But it was worth it. The Onslaught play mode alone is worth the $50 when this arrives on store shelves.
I hate the Unreal series...I've always hated the Unreal engine. I played UT2K3 and was VERY unimpressed ("Uh, is this new?"). So, to answer your question: negative.

The new Unreals have sort of bored me as Jim has intoned, but the very first one I remember being blown away by the graphics and the expansive outdoor environments and thinking, "Yeah, we're finally getting there."
