Bollocks, sold out, i was on line at 9.00 but they still sold out.
Now i'll have to get one off ebay for about £200.
What do think the chances are of extra dates being added? |

i believe it's blatant touting... report it to ebay abuse... i may do in a moment, as i'm pretty pissed off and it'll be a way of venting my anger! can get them taken off sale so the fucker will have to work a bit harder to sell them...

| it's a shame they couldn't do it like they did for the recent ac/dc show @ hammersmith (and are doing for glastonbury) - limit it to 2 tickets per person and only let the named person pick up the tickets on the day (you have to bring your passport) ... only way to stop the touts |

| The promoters should get in touch with ebay and have them taken off. It won't stop them completely (they could just sell them outside) but it will piss them off all the same. |

My mates had no luck, looking like T in the Park is the only option.... never been to Scotland before so might not be such a bad thing although Brixton would have been preferred.

p.s. I've ordered tickets via ticketweb (internet) but I'm not hopeful that the details got through. Don't know why I'm trying really as I'll be on holiday that week. The excitement has got to me. I'm convinced that they will play a few more venues in places like Manchester though. Hopefully the tour dates will settle down over the next couple of weeks.

Well, on ticketweb i booked the second they came on sale, then nothing. so i booked again and again,ive still got the confrm page on. If its happend to all of us then nobodys got tickets!
Or else we're all in a huge queue of confirmations?

How could thy sell out so quickly. i got through to wayahead at 9.10 and it said that it has sold out. on the sites i went on it was restricted to 4 tickets per household.
This really sucks, i just hope they add more dates, i don't see why they wouldn't they're clearly doing it for the money!
does anyone know if ticketweb still have any, i can't get through on line or over the phone. |

just to emphasis... the people on the phone line use the same system as the online system we're trying, it's near identical, they actually process it using the online booking form on ticketweb... the only difference is for them it comes up with how many tickets are left... so if it's not working for us then it's not working for them either. best thing to do is probably keep on trying on the online form... that's what i'm doing anyway.

Managed to get one ticket for the Thursday show from Ticketweb (actually managed to get a confirmation code and finally - an hour later a confirmation e-mail)... Couldn't manage one for the Wednesday show, Ticketweb servers seemed to hang, and wanted me to re-input my credit card details ad-infitum!
As for Wayahead, I avoided them, as that seemed to be the main place where people who'd read the NME story would go, and I was right - the only time I could get onto their website, they told me it had already sold out...

| I have just got through to Ticketmaster on the phone and they told me to call back in 20 minutes as they could not issue any ticket because Ticketweb had gone down. Apparently they have someone trying to fix the website. I am still hoping when Ticketweb comes back up there will still be tickets since there does not appear that there is currently anyway of buying them. |

Yeah, i can't get into ticketweb.
I hope ebay cancells those auctions, although if i get desparate, i might have to resort to a tout.

ticketweb phone line is working
i have my 2 tickets for each night for £118 and a huge phone bill
no stalls tickets left for the wednesday though
and the ticketweb girl first of all told me it hadn't work, then said she'd have another go, then it still didn't, and then she said ahe'd have one last try before asking me to phone back later, and i was going - don't you dare fucking well hang up on me now! and she goes - ooh it has worked! you have tickets.
