| im going, and im happy to be going. i missed out seeing the pixies when they were around, and im glad to have a second chance. but thats all i want. no more tours, or songs, or albums. focus on the catholics, the breeders, the martinis etc, but leave the legend that is pixies alone. |

Ultimately it doesn't matter if you are annoyed or not. It's happening.
Why would you be "annoyed" anyway?
Unless you are a "Catholic" and your bread and butter just fell face down on a dirty kitchen floor...I guess you can be annoyed.
I don't have to preface myself everytime I want to comment on the Pixies that I Love FB solo.
But I am EXCITED to see/hear, now after all this time and experience has gone under the bridge, what a NEW PIXIES ALBUM would sound like.
I am not interested in a "reunion" but rather a reforming. |

After reading many people's posts, I regret condoning, let alone suggesting, downloading something from an independent artist. However, these do have a limited edition of 3,000. Then again, they're on eBay all the time. In addition, if you're a responsible fan like Emily, you'll have got it in August of 2003.
Well, I don't know where I'm going with this, but that's a dang good thread.

| One thing to naysayers about the reunion, it is true that Joey Santiago just had a child, so a heap of reunion cash could get the guy to college, ext. Also, you have to keep in mind that at some point Frank won't be able to tour as much as he does now, so it could work as a nice little nest egg to fall back on. |

Hmmmm... I like Fb's solo and catholics stuff more than Pixies stuff. I have been a Pixies fan since early 80's and I find it past the use by date, (although I can fire up Trompe Le Monde anytime). I would prefer to see Frank to visit Oz with the Catholics rather than the Pixies.
What are you talkin' 'bout today?...

I have a question. Can we get "It's Finally Official: the Pixies are reuniting!" moved to the "Here comes your Subbacultcha" forum. It's just that sometimes I just kind of want to put it out of my mind for awhile, so I venture into the FR Gen Chat, and WHAM!, there it is. Yes, yes, I know it's official.
