The pretty ladies come and go in Boston depending on college schedules. Nearly 2/3rds of the population are college kids so the vibe of the city is completely different between summer and non-summer.

The beaches arround Cape Cod are very nice, but extremely cold most of the year.

The big dig is nearly finished and is much, much better (coming from someone who drives to the airport Fedex all the time). They still project that it won't be enough to completely solve anything by the time it's finished (traffic has gotten worse since construction started), but improvement is improvement.

If I could sum up why I prefer Boston to other cities I've been to I would say "trees". There are lots of really nice trees in and around the city.

You can stay fo-eva.

That's cool that it's a big college town. I've been living in college towns ever since I moved from MI...Shippensburg is smaller, State College is bigger, Boston is huge. That aughta be fun, even though I'm antisocial.

Fresh water can be very very nice. Check out Kalmalka Lake in BC as well.

Hey, the bigger the town the better the chance you can find other antisocial folks to hang with.

El Barto,

Sounds like Boston might eat you alive. Why don't you try a small city that has a lively college/ music scene? You might enjoy Richmond, Va. Or what about Portland, hey?
