I used to watch Lisa Edelstein on MTV every day when I was 11 or something. What happened to her? And Paul King? And Ray Cokes?
(I saw Ray Cokes during a tv-bradcast show in Paris starring Mercury Rev and a French singer Miossec two years ago) |

You mean he isn't?
I think he is a CIA counter-intelligence plant within the bowels of MTV-Europe, who waits tables on the side for the Foreign Service dignitaries at a cafe across the street from his flat.

Your dot com stocks are just fine, but I'm little worried about the exchange rate volatility these days... |

Yen is like 105/106 to the dollar now. 3 or 4 years ago 120 to the dollar was considered bad, and it's expected to hit 100 yen to the dollar this year. Way to go economy! |

...And this old lady, who had a passion for jigsaw puzzles, sat by herself in her house at her table to complete a new jigsaw puzzle. And as she pieced the puzzle together, she realized, to her astonishment, that the image that was formed was her very own room, and the figure in the center of the puzzle as she completed it was herself. And with trembling hands, she placed the last four pieces and stared in horror at the face of a demented madman at the window." "Whoa." "The last thing that this old lady ever heard was the sound of breaking glass."

Did'nt Ray Cokes get fed up with MTV and sort of told them to go fuck themselves? I never liked him anyway, he looked like a herion addict and was'nt very funny, bring back Toby Amis from 120 Min! I think theres a trend re-emerging for those Euro presenters with weired accents and mixed race Benaton looks (Swedish/Cambodians?).

There's really no reason to watch mtv anyway, so who cares? In other news, I was too tired to switch the channel once and timed the commercials. 30% of mtv is commercial "breaks" and half the shows are just long advertisements, and the rest have advertisements in them. It's fucking ridiculous. every 7 minutes, 3 minutes of commercials, and constant plugs for skateboards and shitty bands. |

MTV(MTV 2 is worse) is pure shit, except for 1am till 3am on a Monday night when they actually show loads of really good videos(Tortoise, My Bloodly Valentine, The Lairs,(Interpole?), Bobby Cohn, Add N 2 X, Kraft Werk. Yet to see a Frank Video, but the Pixies get played all the time on the TV3 text in Jube Box thingy (I work nights, so my internal clock is fucked!).
