Okay...I'm sorry but never has a television program rivaled the genious of Rod Serling's baby. Even the bad episodes are good. List your favorite(s). Kudos to those who know the episode names!

...if you want, just throw out a personal favorite line if you have one. For instance:

"Room for one more, honey."

I like "The Lonely". The one where a man is convicted of a crime he says he didn't commit. So he was sent to an asteroid very far away to live. One day a spaceship lands and a man hands him a package. He opens it and it's a girl robot, haha! So he starts to love it. Then the spaceship returns several months later and the man steps out of the ship and says that he's been pardoned but that he can only bring 4 pounds worth of stuff back to earth. He tries to convince the man from the ship that the robot is a real living person. The spaceship guy takes out a gun and shoots the robot in the head. Then they go back home. It's weird, but good.

I don't even remember specifics about this Twilight Zone episode but I know it freaked me out when I was little - it's something about this man who is like a shadow guy and wears a fedora (I think) - he's friends with a kid and possibly lives under his bed or in his closet. At the end he strangles someone by a swing set.

Does anyone know what I am talking about? Probably not. See, I barely remember it - but that image of the shadowy guy strangling someone (possibly the kid?) by the swingset totally sticks in my head. Creepy.

my personal favorite is the one where the world ends and there's only one guy left....and he ends up in the library and he's excited because now he has time to read all he wants, but then he trips and breaks his glasses

Hell, I used to be pretty addicted to Twilight Zone when I was younger....now I can't remember a single episode...

I think I never enjoyed watching something that much.

I saw this episode just a few months ago but thought it was from The Outer Limits. BTW, Ted Knight has an uncredited appearance as one of the guards on the ship that visits the planet. See "Caddyshack" if you don't know who Ted Knight is.

Wow, yeah Twilight Zone is incredible. Do they have them on DVD? Like full seasons or whatever. I'll check Best Buy tonight because this show is addicting. Ray Bradbury wrote a few EPs for the Twilight Zone. Anyone know how many?

I just saw a Twilight Zone that I wasn't all that impressed with, some guy having a gambling problem with a slot machine that's out to get him. I didn't care for it much. But I believe I've liked some of the episodes I've seen, though I don't know if they were the originals or the "fake" newer ones. It's been a long time since I've really watched television.

Alcohol or pot? VHS or Beta? Man or Astro-man?

I like the one STITCHES mentioned about the reader, plus there's a good one that has people stranded in a diner during a storm called "Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up".

I have only vague recollections of it, but I'd have to say the one where the woman somehow gains the power to stop all things in time but herself, and at the end, she stops time and in the sky the bomb that will kill her is falling.

Most of the best stories have little or no resolution.
