I've been locked inside your heart-shaped box for weeks.
Ah..great song...great album. I think heart-shaped box may be my favorite nirvana song, not sure though. But In Utero is definitely my favorite nirvana album. What's is you Favorite Nirvana song and album?

I remember hanging around in a club with a couple of friends (I was 16 or something) and they played Lithium, and I went really mad, jumping around all the time, and with my head I kicked a big Schwarzie-like guy in his face, and he fell on the ground. After that, he went really mad, so I spent 2 hours hiding from him.
That is why I don't like Nirvana any more.

Well I'm sure I listened to Bleach the most.
I like Sliver just because it so damn cute to watch my daughter singing along.
Incesticide sounds so different, I always thought it came before Bleach. That's one bet my hubby actually won ;) |

actually, the reason it sounds so rough is that they wanted to dissuade some of theire more "mainstream" fans from continuing to buy their albums and only keep the people who actually appreciated what they were doing around

That's a great interview with Kurt that described how he feels about several subjects including popularity and mainstream bands and stuff. Very good. check it out.

Carolyanna, I guess we should give leeway to the little boys on the web. They know not of what they speak. Besides, I've seen his other posts and wouldn't expect any less .
Does anyone think Courtney killed Kurt or had him killed? I am one that finds that not to hard to believe. |

Yeah, it's very convincing. Too many errors in the evidence.

I think so, unfortunately. How old would she be now? Atleast 12...probably near 13

I think it's good that she's had a chance to grow up normally (as normally as anyone with courtney love for a mother could), rather than constantly having photographers in her face like some celebrities' children

Also...if you've ever heard Kurt speak his opinion...he's a really smart and selfless individual. That's another reason that I really doubt he killed himself. He really loved his daughter.

hmm, don't really like Nirvana all that much. It's hard for me to respect anyone that would kill himself, BUT my favorite song is probably Drain You or Aero Zeppelin and my favorite album is In Utero

and yeah, he was depressed and a heroin addict..I just don't think he had it in him..I mean..he used to think that it would be selfish to bring a child into a world like this. I don't know..and the "suicide note" is quite strange. I think it would have been right to the point of suicide instead of everything else. and the two different types of handwriting in it..I don't know..it's quite strange.

I can understand that but it was his choice to become a heroin addict which, even, though he still may have been depressed, is the main thing that drove him to suicide

I wasn't disputing anything, just making a simple statement. I don't know if he killed himself or not, I'm saying that it is not so farfetched when someone is depressed and hooked on the junk, no matter what kind of person he was. I don't think any of us could really know his state of mind. |

well...I don't think it was his "choice" to become an addict. His "journal" that was published not so long ago shows that he regretted it.
"It was a stupid thing to do and I'll never do it again, and I feel real sorry for anyone who thinks they can use heroine as a medicine because um, duh, it don't work."
"After the first time (using heroin) your mind say ahh that was very pleasant as long as I don't do it every day I won't have a problem. The problem is it happens over time ... Even the most needle phobic person can crave the relief of putting a syringe in their arm."

I was responding more to nimrodsSon's declaration that cobain's heroin addiction is why he killed himself. Apparently he was there!

Crouton, I'm sorry but that argument is no good. Just because someone regrets something doesn't mean they had no choice in it. I mean unless someone drugged him in his sleep... I'm not saying its not unfortunate or a hard habit to kick but he made the initial choice himself. |
