                      | i'm stupid, so i need some help. i started a paypal account, entered the details of my card so i can pay someone, but i have a limit of £0 so i can't send anything. is there something i am missing? |  |

                      | Yeah - they make you verify your account with a bank account now. Bastards. So you gotta enter some bank info. Unless I'm wrong. But last I checked they changed their requirements...

                      | I believe that the site says it will take a few days to verify your bank acount info. If you have already been through that process, I don't know what else might be wrong.

                      | When I did it, they made me confirm the amounts of two small deposits to my bank account.  They do something like $0.36 and $0.11 or whatever. 
 Once you confirm the exact amounts, then they know you're on the up & up.

                      | hmm, i avoided this for a while, because it merely stated it allowed you to send unlimited amounts of money, as if usually you get a limit (THAT ISN'T £0!). i've done it now. i'll have to wait bloody ages to get a statement though. |
