hey jo,

so I guess you are the Little Beggar Girl!

(if you don't have a clue what I'm talking about
pick up Richard and Linda Thompson's album 'I wanna see the bright lights tonight', Rolling Stone said that it was one of the best albums of the last 30 years!)

Quite funny songs though..."draw attention" is quite good...and I think,i might be wrong, one is called " silhouetta"

Maybe this old info for you, in that case "pardon me"...

I just saw that this thread started last year!!! How scary is that?
Anyway, latest is that Cooking Vinyl are planning to release the album more like June time, to coincide with the tour.

It'd be great it this stuff is released, I for one would love to hear it....they supposedly recorded some tracks during the 'Trompe Le Monde' sessions that were never released, hope that stuff sees the light of day sometime.

I have this tape of a show & interview the pixies did for some Boston college station before they had the purple tape out. They mention that they don't have anything out because the interviewer asks where people can get their stuff but their manager (I guess before Ken Goes because she was a girl) mentions that they do have a reel recorded. I'm thinking that maybe this could be the demo they are discussing releasing. Has anyone else heard this interview?

I'm wondering what these "golden ticket" demos are. They were on DTTP? The vinyl? I haven't heard of these before until I read this thread. I have the DTTP 4 vinyl set, but have kept it in its original packaging. Should I have listened to it? Should I still?

The deoms on DTTP are the supper ones everyone keeps talking about. It's only two and they were secret tracks on limited copies of the CD version and on every one of the vinyl. Being the nerd I am I have both of them. I wouldn't open yours though if it's just to hear those tracks. They're on P2P networks all the time and if you can't find them let me know and I might be able to send them to you. Like I said there were only two songs, broken face and I'm amazed and both kick ass.

Yeah, there are a number of really bitchin tracks that I haven't been able to get a hold of. I'm not very FTP-friendly. Everybody's talking about these songs and demos and b-sides that I can't get a hold of. I'm trying to get better at it. But if there's some way to send them my way, that'd be very cool.

Hey, thanks a lot. I've seen this page before, but it's been ages. Consider them downloaded!
